So ..... no tickets for general sale. I'm heartbroken. :crying:

I need to watch it on tv with other Bluenoses, in triumph or defeat. Does anyone know anywhere in London who will have the final on where there will be Bluenoses watching? :kro:

I'm not in trouble for asking this am I as it's on BBC1?

A hundred viewings of this topic but not a single reply!

I know there are a lot of Blues supporters in London and surely not all of you have tickets. Perhaps you've got giant TVs!

head to wembley, chances are you will be able to ick up a ticket for not to much over face value any way, and if not the pubs around wembley will be showing it.

Thanks all.

I think I'll head to Wembley just in case. Any advice on how to spot dodgy tickets.

Smudging is one clue

Check for a waterline (or multiple waterlines or a distinguishable crest of some sort) as well by holding up to any light source

I am one of the london blues fans without a ticket and I know for sure there will be a few without tickets coming down.

I will probably head towards wembley just to link up with a few mates beforehand.

Not to keen on watching it to near to wembley because of the rip off prices though.

Hi Clapton Bluenose. Remember the Yucatan at the end of October?

Do you know which pub you will go to yet?

I don't think I would risk good money on what will almost certainly be a forged ticket, so not sure about going to the Wembley area without a specific destination. I just want to make sure I can watch it with other Birmingham fans.

Quite hard to avoid Londoners if you live in London...

It was good in the Yucatan for that Villa game. If I'd not been lucky this time I'd be asking the same question! I managed to get a ticket as I got time off for the West Ham and Villa games, then came up to queue on Sunday. 11 hours plus the train travel but it was worth doing. Last year I was around Kilburn as I had some mates coming down with the other lot. After they went off to the stadium we stayed around the Kilburn High Road and every pub had the game on. I can imagine pre-match there will be a few Blues fans around there as it is on the Jubilee line, which had better be open for a change!

The Globe is very popular with football fans on the Marylebone Road opposite Baker Street on the Jubilee Line or a ten minute walk turning left from Euston.

I'll probably be starting there before moving toward Wembley

So where do people reckon then?

Green Man for the actual game? Or are there any renowned Bluenose pubs in London?

I don't know any actual bluenose pubs in London but I think we should establish one. I've never been to the Green Man.

I'm hoping claptonbluenose will suggest a good pub for the game where we can all watch it together ooohing and arrghing in the same places.

What about here for the match?

As for official blues pub why not make it the yacutan?

I'm hoping to get the good news about my ticket later on today.

If I don't manage to get one, will probably got to the Green Man before the game for a pint and see if I can get hold of a ticket.

If not (or if too much for me:() I'll see what the general concencus is and "go with the flow" :drink:

I'd be more than happy with the Yucatan becoming the official Blues pub in London. It's a fine place! I don't know of any Blues-oriented pubs down here at the moment, and it would be good to have one.
