The smarties making silly responses.

But Blue4nose has a really valid point which is all ST holders that wanted tickets were able to access them - those that are moaning and missing out are not ST holders.

To be assured of tickets for big games you must be a ST holder, some can't afford it but that's the reality.

its a point thats been made about fifty thousand times in this forum, and is starting to get a bit boring now, it seems that some people with season tickets are really using them to throw it in people's faces and tell everybody how much of a great fan they are, when theres no need for it.

genuine question: do you still buy a season ticket despite living in australia and not being able to attend a lot of games ?

The club did the sale fair and square

ST holders and the corporate people (who pay for the boxes or club seats every season and therefore put a lot of revenue into the club) should rightly get first crack at Final tickets

Those people who attended more than one Carling Cup game (the more the better obviously) are rewarded also as they backed the team in early rounds when gates went as low as 6,000 or 10,000 ....But the diehards still showed up so fair play to them

I have no time whatsoever for the long term stayaways that live within reasonable distance of St Andrews and are now crying and bleating about how the club conducted itself this weekend

Looks highly unlikely I will get one at this stage (I would find out tomorrow).....But living 5,000 miles away, I was never optimistic anyway

Plus there's the FA Cup .....we could well be back at Wembley.....for the semi finals at least **thumbup

Taking this excellent, innovative idea on a stage further. As well as getting STs, we should all collectively attend as many away games as possible and get the highest coloured 'away card' that we can to avoid queueing for Cup tickets with the great unwashed. Well, I say all, but if we ALL went to away games, we would all have the same coloured away ticket and then we'd all be queueing on the same day and there'd be no advantage to having an away card. I think I'd better think it out again...... :banghead:

Probably be as many arsenal end tickets being sold on as Blues end.

I reckon more cos Arsenal fans get put into a lottery for tickets so many who got lucky will have already made alternative arrangements and cannot go. So it might be Arsenal's method of selling tickets that leads to more black market tickets, not Blues.
