Train prices from NEC to Wembley £17.50 return Bargain, all booked and raring to go,the bloke at the the ticket office said in all his 25 years of service this is the most number of tickets he has ever sold, he has never known anything like it. It is first come first served on these rattlers, so it could be standing room only, but i am sure none of us will mind after queing for 12 plus hours for a ticket.

I know London Midland are running the trains from New Street to Wembley Central, and how to actually go about booking them (either in person at a station, or online)

When I put in all the details needed on their website (Birmingham New Street to London Euston via Wembley Central) I get the right trains towards Wembley (with the fewest amounts of stops) departing at :

08:53
09:53
10:53

and that is all fine, the tickets show up online and can be booked.

However, its the return tickets that dont seem to show, any idea why?

The ones with the fewest stops, at :

18:19
18:38
19:18

dont show up online, just other trains that end up stopping at every single stop on the way back..

Return Journey, I get a choice of : 18:34 (stopping at every stop), 19:34 (stopping at every stop) and 20:34 (stopping again, at every stop).

Just wondering then, where are the returning trains with the fewest amount of stops, when booking online? Do I have to go in person to a station to sort it? Or am I missing something glaringly obvious  ?

Oh and one final thing, can you reserve a seat on these, or not?

Cheers.

Why don't you just get an open return?

http://www.londonmidland.com/destinations/...ng-cup-final/?=

The above link will help you with the stops etc.

I booked in person due to wanting a group saver, it only cost me £13 and the tickets don't indicate a time.

I wouldn't reserve a seat on these either tbh given the amount of people that will be on them.

I think the return times are not showing up as the time they leave are dependent on when the game finishes. The ones stoping at every stop are the scheduled trains. It says you cannot reserve seats it's on a first come first served basis. It's all in the link on the website. Even the times of the trains you cannot see via your link.

A few weeks ago i downloaded a great escapes voucher off London-Midland trains website. Just been to Sandwell & Dudley train station to get tickets for Sunday. Cost me £10.00 for unlimited travel on any of the London Midland Trains on Sunday even the Blues Specials......would cost more in petrol .....absolute bargain.
