I was emailing a friend in Brasil earlier telling him to watch the game on Sunday if he can. He has asked me an interesting question; 'If Blues win, will this be their greatest ever achievement?' I replied yes - I'm pretty sure it would be...... So do you think that IF we do win, that it will be our biggest achievement?! KRO |

I think it will be our greatest achievement SP. Yes, we won the League Cup before but the biggest teams didn't enter the competition then. The FA Cup is a more prestigious and "better" tournament and we've got to the final of the twice, but a winning this would be greater. **thumbup |

I'd disagree to an extent We have already won this trophy although I'd accept it's a little harder to win these days I still say the team of 1955/56 made the greatest contribution because that team still hold the record for the highest ever League position in the clubs history.....6th in the old 1st Division....plus we were runners up in the FA Cup Final as well that same season In modern terms the team of 1971/1972 took some beating because they won promotion and also reached the semi final of the FA Cup......had we not been drawn with the then Mighty Leeds in the SF I honestly do believe we would have won the famous old trophy that year The FA Cup is still the biggest fish, I can't see how anyone could deny that KRO |
