The classy Pole will put paper to pen at St Andrew’s during half time at the Blues v Albion derby next Saturday.

The Brummies are working with Blues to promote the new speedway season which starts on March 17, when the Brummies face neighbours Wolves in the WM Trophy first leg.

Brummies boss Graham Drury said: “It’s a huge honour for Birmingham Speedway in this very special year for us to have our number one rider signing his contract in front of a full house at St Andrew’s.

“I would like to thank everyone at Birmingham City for allowing us to do this and for their support of Birmingham Speedway in providing a platform to promote the sport.

“It’s such a big year because we are entering the Elite League for the first time since 1983 and this is a great way for us to launch the season.

“We are going on a big promotional drive to raise awareness and we hope the people of Birmingham will turn out in force and support top-flight racing at Perry Barr.”

Congratulation to the Blues and there Brilliant supporters in winning the Carling Cup, and as Birmingham fans - come down to Perry Barr and support Birmingham's team sampling top speedway racing in your city throughout spring and summer getting behind the cities team in a family sport!!!!!
