He is too unreliable at cente half at this level. Another basic unforced error today cost us two points. |

I've been fretting over this all day. I dont understand quite what happened. Sure, Ridgewell does an error or two, but he made a couple of brilliant blocks, and thought he more than made up for it. A draw was a cracking result today, and i dont think we would've held on at 1-0 for the whole second half, you dont know, we mightve conceded two. The game played out as it did, and we should be happy with a draw, Ridge is a brilliant servant for us. |

Actually, I wouldn't change it yet, even if Jiranik is fit, I would keep the current back four together. Rigewell made a cock up, for some reason RJ coming back on confused him, but he should have just belted the ball. |

Ridge never has and never will be a Prem quality CB but in hard times he's decent enough cover. |

A bad slip up for the goal, other than that he made some excellent stops! Just like the rest of the team will do a job anywhere he asked too! Another player who would run through Walls for the club, but a mistake means his some of his own will vilify him!! |

This. He should have done better, but Bazza shouldn't have been putting him in that position to be fair. |

johnson shouldn't have come back on he inadvertently blocked the route for the clearance and his signaling to carr distracted ridge for a split second.. ridgewell has done really well for us |

So running through brick walls justifies playing him at centre-half? :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: It didn't prevent him from slow speed of thought for an unforced error yesterday just as in 2007/8. |

calm down fella you'll give your self a head ache with all that head banging!! as quite a few have pointed out above his first option for clearance was blocked by a dazed and confused johnson! silly mistake... doesn't make him a bad defender, and at the moment he is all we have! |

Bolton at home Ridge had a great game, the same yesterday apart from the mistake. Even though Davies had a good game yesterday i still feel far more comfortable with Ridge alongside Johnson than Davies |

So if you don't play Ridgewell at CB then presumably you'd have to play Davies in the current circumstances. Is that what you want? |

Scapegoat? Are you kidding me? Its just before half time, we had nothing to gain by playing the ball, he should have just cleared it and he gifts them a goal, scapegoat-no, liability-yes. Ferguson shouldn't have put him in that position? So your trying to tell me a PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALLER that is paid THOUSANDS A WEEK (drives a Bentley also amongst other high end cars) should not be put in that position? Behave. Even less glorified players in our past, ala the Martin Taylor wouldn't have done that. |

He wasn't that bad, if he didn't make that mistake I would have been realy glad of his performance yesterday, last week he had Davies to deal with and he dealt with him, if thats not a good CB I do not know what is, also Ridgewell has not had a run of games at CB. |

Ok ridgewell made a mistake...fair enough im sure he sat at home saturday night beating him self up over it! His that type of player, hell roll his sleeves up and put his body on the line for the club! 1 mistake does not make him a bad player... ok he isnt the best CB in the premiership but im sure alot of clubs would be intrestred in him if we was to make him avaliable! Foster made a mistake against west ham- does that make him useless! Carr has made many mistakes this season but he is still a contender for our player of the season Bazza has made mistakes and cost us a few goals this season and his another up for player of the season! Why is it ridgewell makes one mistake and his suddenly go to be dropped and sold! i sometimes hate to assosiate myself with blues fans because we never back a player we always slate them!! Zigic, jerome, ridgewell, davis, fahey, murphy to name a few! and even some on here slate AM We are birmingham city! we are fighting a relegation battle! we are nor a big club and we will not as of yet attract quality footballers to birmingham city...simple as! What we do have in our team is a group of battlers, fighters and players who will wear that shirt till theres blood on it! |

Whoever slates Ridgewell should be ashamed. He has been Nothink other than amazing. He comes back to CB to help and makes one mistake. He has also scored some vital goals and kept god knows how many clean sheets for us. Common Liam. Prove these idiots wrong!!!! |

Worst post I've ever seen, Pooley! Golf is brilliant. Every successful person plays it, because it is so good for exercise, socialising and relaxing when they've got time away from their busy schedules! True greats love golf! |

Golf's ace, but anyway, I made the whole thing up. Liam might not even be 28, I'm pretty sure he's from Essex though. There were people on here clamouring for Maik Taylor to go in goal after Foster's blunder against West Ham in the Carling Cup. There's some jerky knees out there... |
