I was over-optimistic with my sub 3:30, but was within 4 hours which I'm happy with as it was really hot.

We stayed over on the Saturday night and had the pleasure of meeting Jerry Gill who ran the race and was in the same hotel. I had a quick chat with him which was a real pleasure, Jerry's a really nice guy and I was really pleased to hear that he is working with the Academy.

Congratulations to those of you that completed the run.

I've run several marathons so appreciate how tough it is and what constitutes the preperation.

3:30 is quick, my best time is 3:52 and have only gone sub 4 hours once.
