Westwood/ Doyle/ Butland
Carr/ Clyne
Jiranek/ Davies/ Ridgwell/ De Laet/ Kerr
Van Aanholt/ Murphy
Snodgrass/ O' Shea
Gardner/ Fergusen/ Fahey/ Mutch/ Prately
Vaughan/ Beausejour
Zigic/ Jerome/ Asante/ Mackail Smith/ Borini

In
Westwood - free
Clyne - 3m - crystal palace
De Laet - loan - manchester united
Van Aanholt - loan - chelsea
Snodgrass - 4m - leeds
Prately - free
Vaughan - free
Mackail Smith - 2m - peterborough
Borini - loan - chelsea

van Aanholt would be a good loan signing.

Clyne, Snodgrass, and Westwood will be attracting premier league interest, but they would be quality additions (and in Westwood's case a quality replacement if Foster leaves).

Pratley and Vaughn will join premier league clubs too I'd imagine.

Craig Mackail-Smith is a good shout, as is Borini (though Swansea will certainly want to extend his stay).

Bradley Johnson is another Leeds player Blues would be wise to consider (though he too will probably have some Premier league suitors).

Chris Eagles, Lewis McGugan, Danny Graham, Wes Morgan, Kyle Naughton, Jack Hobbs, and Andy King are all players that would help... Plenty others.

Teams like chelsea and United may well think of loaning youngsters out to us to get first team football as well as europeon experience.

Please do not say we have Jerome still next season please look at lower divisions for a player who know where goal is.

I think Dann will stay till January like Upson did. Johnson is already halfway out the door IMO as is Larsson, the loanees and Stoke or someone will come in for Jerome.

If the Board have any money and ambition we need to hold onto Foster unless we get a stupid bid; he's said he's happy and wants to play for the club - these are the characters we NEED in the squad.

....................................Foster / Doyle ....................................

............. Carr/Clyne... Dann ... Davies .... Ridgewell .............

Redmond ......... Gardner ....... Mutch/Fahey .......... Beausejour

............................ Asante/Phillips ... McFadden ..................

I can see McFadden going if Eck's goes, so we'll need a couple of strikers from the champ or on frees.

Robbie Blake, Gary-Taylor Fletcher, David Vaughan, Ricardo Fuller, Victor Obinna all out of contract. We will also be able to attract some of the best players in the champ presuming we have money.

IN:

Chris Eagles
Jay Bothroyd
Ashley Williams (If Swansea don't go up)
Danny Graham
Nathaniel Clyne
Danny Rose (Loan)

OUT:

Roger Johnson £8m-£10m
Seb Larsson (Free)
Martin Jarenik (Free)
Maik Taylor (Free/Coach)
David Bentley (Loan return)
Martins (Loan Return)
Zigic £4-£5m

I don't see Foster going as he has stated he wants to stay, but if he would go he would probably bring in £8m-£10m+.

Clyne----Dann---Ridgewell---Rose

Eagles----Ferguson---Gardner----Beausejour

------------------McFadden----Graham

Subs:
GK: Doyle
CB: Ashley Williams
CB: Davies
RB: Carr
LB: Parnaby

CM: Fahey
RM: Redmond
CM: Mutch
LM: Bothroyd

ST: Jerome
ST: Asante

I'd like to see us try and get felipe caicedo or vladimir Weiss on loan off Man City, both young exciting attacking players; a right winger and a striker which is where we will be lightest next season

The one player I'd love to keep, and the one player I'm most disappointed about losing, is Zigic. What a hero. If only we had him for the run-in!

:crying:

Anyway, I want to see any funds pushed to keeping what we have. We know the obvious ones who will go. I see the team shaping up like this:

Foster

Carr - Davies - Dann - Ridgewell

Beausejour - Ferguson - Gardner - Redmond

Asante - Jerome

With pace going forward and a solid back four, that's a Championship winning team.

If we keep Foster, Dann, Davies and Gardner we will go up.

get replacements in cheap/ free; the likes of Burke, Pratley and fill out with loans such as Weiss and Bertrand and everyone will be happy-ish come September

Sell Foster, Johnson, Dann, Gardner, Jerome, Zigic and beausejour and the board can forgot about a top half finish

Depending who leaves obviously but a few I'd like to see. Lewis mcgugan, wes Morgan, Paul konchesky, clyne and Kieran Westwood. All fairly young and good for future. Need to ditch the golden oldies now.

This is an ideal time to loose the older members and have a clean out of the unhappy ones, will be good for the squad in some cases

Being realistic

Out:
Ferguson - £750k
Bowyer -free
Jiranek - free
Dann - £10m
Larsson - free
McFadden - free
Zigic - £4m (I hope we manage to get him to stay though cos he would be lethal at this level)

In:
Lee Wallace
Bothroyd
Burke
Kilgallon (loan Sunderland)
Caicedo (loan Man Cityl)

Foster
Carr, Johnson, Davies, Ridgewell
Burke, Gardner, Mutch, Beausejour
Jerome, Bothroyd

Subs:
Doyle, Wallace, Kilgallon, Caicedo, Phillips, Fahey, Redmond

Something like that, even with loosing most of those players you can still pick a promotion earning squad and have some selection problems, what do people think will happen with Michel? Another one who could replace Ferguson and would be able to get first team games at a slightly lower level?

dann is the only one realy we need to worry about, but after seeing davies i think we have a good replacement in him,

few players in like whittingham bothryod and burke, think we will be straight back up,

happy with the decision regarding mcleish too, in reality theres no one out there to replace him,

Clyne-----Davies-----Ridgewell----Bertrand
Redmond---Gardner--Mutch---Beausejour
--------------Jerome--Asante--------------

In:

Westwood (Coventry) - Bosman
Bertrand (Chelsea) - Loan
Clyne (Palace) - Bosman (or has he got 1 more year?)

If we could afford a Championship goalscorer would be great to sign someone like Mackail Smith or Ebanks Blake.

Redmond and Asante wont be ready for regular football week in, week out... they should be part of the squad, and we should see a bit more of them, but we shouldnt be relying on them to be first choice IMO

After reading the SSN report RE: Scott Dann im 99% certain he won't be at Blues come August...Johnson i'm not so sure about. Foster will depend entirely on the boards willpower as to a £10m bid coming in from the likes of a Tottenham, Arsenal, even Man UTD have been reported! I live down South and go to see Bournemouth play a lot, their Captain, Jason Pearce, only 23, real talent (reminds me of Johnson), never say die attitude, real quality! Bournemouth aren't in the greatest financial position, could be available for 3-400k.

Worst case scenario:

Doyle
Carr Davies Pearce Ridge
Lansbury Gardner Ferguson Beausejour
McFadden Jerome

Best case sceario:

Foster
Carr Johnson Davies Ridge
Eagles Gardner Ferguson Beausejour
Zigic Jerome

But who knows...just have to wait and see what the season brings! :blues:

My Team for the Championship on the basis that the following will leave:

Roger Johnson - £8m +
Nikola Zigic - £3m
Miguel Marcos Madera - £2m
Martin Jiranek - Free
Seb Larsson - Free
David Bentley - Loan Return
Aliaksandr Hleb - Loan Return
Obafemi Martins - Loan Return
Matt Derbyshire - Loan Return
Maik Taylor - Retired/Moved to coach position

------------------------------------
TOT: £13m
------------------------------------

Players In:

Wes Morgan - from Nottingham Forest - £3m
Championship centre back of the year and in his prime - a perfect replacement for Roger Johnson.

Chris Burke - from Cardiff City - Free
Tricky winger. Fast feet. Great delivery. Can play left or right wing. A must get on a free transfer and I think he'll be on McLeish's Scot-radar.

Simon Cox - from West Brom - Free
A gamble, but a gamble worth taking on a free transfer. Cox has terrific technique and creativity and could be the link between our midfield and attack.

James Vaughan - from Everton - £2m
A quick, strong, England U21 with 9 Championship goals under his belt last season. Vaughan was born in Four Oaks, Sutton Coldfield, so let's bring him back home!

------------------------------------
TOT: £5m
------------------------------------

First choice XI:

Wes Morgan - from Nottingham Forest - £3m

Chris Burke - from Cardiff City - Free
Nathan Redmond
