Di Matteo sounds good to me. But I need to think about this one a little while.

Taxi for Eck!

Di Matteo
Lambert
Warnock
Holloway
Hughton

and even at a push.....Curbs, Big Sam, O'Neil (although all these three play a boring style traditionally)

Not a bad shout but how long would it be before the people ranting and raving about McLeish would be doing exactly the same about Houghton.

Enough of AM already ...

Allardyce would be more of the same (ie defence minded) ...

Let's get someone in who knows how to play a bit of attacking & entertaining football .. God knows we need it, after the dirge we've had to suffer this season !!

My vote is for O'Neill or Houghton ... or how about a punt on Brendan Rodgers or Brian McDermott ??

Ancelotti has been sacked, he's said he'd drop down a division to manage West Ham. Would be unbelievable getting a manager of Ancelotti's calibre building a younger generation for Birmingham from the ground up. Could be a new era...but it won't happen.

Hughton, Allardyce ?? I'm bored of Eckball already.

Di Matteo would be a superb appointment, young and hungry enough to build a footballing empire for years to come.

Would love him to build a blues side **thumbup

Parti would we have scored 2 against Man U today and are we easy on the eye I like attacking football and a fearless leader I dont think many neutrals are crying we are down, but Blackpool will be missed we wont and thats down to our negative style of play

If Eck does depart

Has to be

1 - O'Neill
2 - Curbishley
3 - Allardyce
4 - Di Matteo

In that order
