He did great last season and in the cups this year!!! Yes I think he should walk as it's the league that he should be judged on but he has still on a whole done a good job. But this year he just hasn't been quite at it. I want to thank him for the League Cup and wish him well wherever he goes.

Walking would be best as he deserves better than being sacked. KRO!!!

He won't walk with a contract... he's not as honorable as you think!

Agreed. Some of the stuff on here is so out of order.

Yes he should probably not be our manager next year looking at the football we have played and being relegated.

But some of the personal attacks and stuff posted on here is shameful. Eck has been very good for our club on the whole - who'd have though we would have won a cup?! But perhaps his time has come to look elsewhere -doesn't mean we cant treat him with respect though.

McLeish's record is better than any other recent Blues manager.

Birmingham City STILL have their man in McLeish.

I agree, though I'm not totally against the idea of a new manager. However, getting out of the darkness is hard and you need someone who has escaped before and knows the route.

I think he might walk after he talks to the Board. If he is told he has to sell his top players and will not get the money back to reinvest in the squad I can see him leaving.

I would move him to a more senior role a sort of general manager overseeing a younger manager with the ability to produce attractive football.

Not sure if AM would be agreeable to this but that's the respect I would offer him.

:blues:

Thirteenth in The Prem when he took over, now in the Championship four and a half years later, via TWO relegations, the only man in our club history to do so.

Progress ?

Keep AM :) , get him a new assistant , get rid of Jerome, get a striker that can hit a barn door with a banjo...sell Foster and Johnson, use the money to bring in 4/5 up and coming/fire in the belly types.... job done!!

Only 1 point this month when we needed them the most, playing Fulham, Newcastle, Wolves, Spurs, with 2 of them being home. Thats bad....

If Zigic (or even Martins) had been fit, we'd have stayed up and been celebrating "our greatest ever season".

End.

Think you meant three and half years ....WTF ?
Only one relegation because in 2007/08 he inherited a team built by somebody else
The only man in this century to win a Trophy for us as well **thumbup
