Having had a look at who is available for free this summer there is so many goalscorers to be had.

I understand that we wont get all of them but its worth having a look at the following:

Anichebe - Everton
Fuller - Stoke
Bothroyd - Cardiff
King - Coventry
Tyson - Forest
Earnshaw - Forest
Pratley - Swansea

If we were to lose Foster then there are a couple of great goalkeepers available as well:

Westwood - Coventry
De Vries - Swansea

Injury prone I know but I would still show intrest in Woodgate!

And after the great season he has just had in a struggling team what about having Neil Danns back on a free???

By the sounds of things money will be tight this summer so if we can sell a few players and get some in on a free we should be ok!

We wont be signing Beckford, He has only spent 1 season at Everton and looks settled. He would cost a bomb as well.

Anichebe - Everton - doesn't seem to have done much at Everton but maybe
Fuller - Stoke - yes please he creates goals as well as score.
Bothroyd - Cardiff - depends if he will come to another promotion chasing team or go straight for the prem
King - Coventry - No thanks
Tyson - Forest - Heard good things but don't know enough
Earnshaw - Forest - He's the lazy poacher sort. Give him the ball and he'll put it in the net but he won't make chances so unless we have a creative player behind him then we're screwed
Pratley - Swansea - heard good things again and is a possibility.

I think if we were to get Bothroyd then we would need a little man to play alongside him (Makail-Smith maybe??)

That would mean AMC playing with 2 strikers!

We just need that forward thinking creative midfielder, granted Gardner gets goals but I wouldnt class him as creative!

Not 100% sure but I believe Mutch is a creative player but because of gardner's goal threat I fear he will be back up to him as oppose to playing next to him.

Yakubu is a must up front for me..

He's a proven goalscorer in the Premier League, yet alone the Championship..

And has already said he's happy at Leicester.....plus his wages ain't going to exactly cheap

I can't see Prattley leaving Swansea (especially if they go up). Don't know how much you've seen of Swansea but they are the Arsenal of the Championship (only they aren't scared to shoot) they pass teams to death.

he's not the type of player our manager goes for.

Wages I cant see being a problem seeing as we'll no doubt be getting quite a lot off the wage bill (Hleb alone is saving £60k-ish!)

Id still be right in there for him, money talks at the end of the day.

Anichebe has just signed a new deal, and Fuller a 1 year extension

Bothroyd will want to go to a prem club; he's turned down Cardiff who were 3rd! and Earnshaw is too injury prone and it wouldn't feel right him playing for us.

Darren Pratley and Craig Mickail Smith along with keeping big zig

King - Coventry no, he has not done enough since his return
Tyson - Forest no, once he was highly rated but he just can't score, so I guess we will buy him :crying:
