Not going to another game or giving the club any of my money whilst this clown Is still In charge......

Confirms to me that we are In a dire financial situation....... We obviously can't afford to sack him.....

I see very, very bad times ahead....

Will you keep to this if we keep our stars and buy decent players?

Yes!

I'm not going to another game or giing the club any money while McLeish remains In charge.....

Relegated twice In 3.5 years! pathetic!

Great news well done to the board for firm leadership and those of you who say you are not coming back I bet you couldnt wait for an excuse to say that.

He has to be the only manager who has been the clubs most successful and worst manager ever.

Changing manager certainly doesn't always work, hopefully Big Eck gets us promoted next season otherwise looking at that statement... he's gone.

I'm happy with that and will be re-newing this week :)

Looks like i'll be seeing most of you again when we're back in the Premiership!...

Haha looks like it! It's ridiculous! Fair enough fans are angry and upset but I really don't see how boycotting their club and withholding any support is going to help - if anything it will just hasten any potential demise! It's just selfish. Unbelievable. I hoped for better.

I don't expect to see much of our younger players next season now. Bench warmers.

And that's going to help our club get out of any mess is it? Withholding money and support? If it pains you that much support someone else. We support the Blues, through the joys AND sorrows, just cos you think it looks rough ahead doesn't mean you should abandon ship! Grow a spine mate, this club is bigger than just one fan, we need all the support and help we can get in the times ahead.

Devastated with this news... I just can't see how the guy's got away with this! I believe the only reason he's not been shown the door is because we can't afford to sack him!!

BUT...

Fair play to the Board for making a swift decision... the last thing we needed was a long period of uncertainty.

This is the correct decision.

McLeish stated in the post-match media conference that they must maintain the quality in the squad to make it back.

This will have been discussed today and my guess is that the board will dig deep (sorry, borrow more) to make it possible.

Let's hope so....

So you're reasoning for seeing bad financial and playing times ahead under Eck is to purposefully boycott your club and any monetary and morale support you could give them by turning up to games? Unbelievable.

Not boycotting because of money problems.... Am boycotting because the manager Is useless..... 2 relegations In 3.5 years! Good enough? Not by a long way.......

Look, whatever you think of the guy at least a decision has been made!

if he was to be sacked or kept on we all now know what is happening at our club so I for 1 am happy that the board have acted quick and we can all look forward to a busy summer and hopefully a lot more goals and wins next season!!!

KRO!!

Even before we went down, McLeish openly said that blues would be targetting younger players in the summer, no matter what division we were in. I think he recognised that we were left wanting towards the end of this season, with the older legs running on empty and no younger replacements he could rely on

I expect a much younger more energetic team next year.

If Blues dont start fast in the championship Mcleish will be out of a job by November

what a joke..

unless AM changes his tactics and actually attack and try and score goals he will have no fans left next season and know one will go.

I hope the board read this as mark my words you have been warned.

This is your chance to make a clean sweep and you can't even do this properly...

I hope he proves me wrong...but i very much doubt it...

It is the best decision for the future of Birmingham City. Alex McLeish is a quality experienced manager and too good to let go.

Mark my word you seem to think this is all has in his locker. I dont think it is.
I think he has much more to do with Birmingham City yet.

Yesterday was disappointing but this is a great day the board has shown it has class.

Providing they can work with McLeish I dont believe it will regret the decision.

Well done board.

Tell me why I should pay to watch an Inmcompetant manager demand that our team attempt to defend a 1-0 lead against Brighton for 85 minutes?

He has absalutley no Interest In attacking what so ever.... We will struggle big time In the Championship with this fool In charge...
