foster - player of the season speaks for itself - got to keep.

carr - solid season, proper pro - another season at least.

ridgwell - chipped in with a few goals and allways reliable - keep.

dann - great season upto injury, showed that he was more than a bit part player in the central defensive role, keep if we can.

johnson - great talent but more interested in himself - big money move to fulham, bolton or sunderland - not good enough for the top teams despite what he thinks, will one day realise that through his career fans will not remember him for the right reasons if he carries on with his attitude, good riddence

davies - difficult start to his blues career but mom at spurs, time will tell.

jiranek - great performance in cup final, unlucky with injuries.

bowyer - decent effort but passed his best, could still do a job in championship

ferguson - second half of the season very average, another one who seems more interested in himself, take it from the way he waved at the fans on sunday will be gone.

larrson - never been the same player since all the contract issues, should be remembered as a decent servant to the club - will leave for better contract and who can blame him ?

gardener - key goals that got us to cup final, league effort nearly saved us, need more players who want to die for the club like him

phillips - tried his best but at the end of his career, good luck to him

jerome - stuck on his own for most of the season but will never score goals
in the prem, sell or part ex, had his time.

fahey - good squad player but nothing else at the moment, needs more time

beausejour - some decent moments when he got the chance, hope to see more of him next season and will develop into a decent player

martins - one fantastic moment in the clubs history, shame about the injuries, could be a good signing if we can get him cheap enough

zigic - some key goals, was getting better by the game, not sure if he will stay tho

hleb - didnt get the minutes on the pitch for various reasons, showed signs of a decent player, should have been used more by alex

bentley - complete waste of space, typical over paid supposed star, good riddence, wont be suprised to see him dissapear from football altogether in the next couple of years.

derbyshire - another waste of space, no wonder he didnt get a look in most of the time

would be interested in what you views are on each player ????????

foster - player of the season speaks for itself - HOPE WE KEEP BUT MAY GO.

carr - solid once again, HOPEFULLY GIVE US 1 LAST SEASON.

ridgwell - chipped in with a few goals and allways reliable - PHILLIPS BEEN ON TALKSPORT SAYING HE WANTS TO GO SO BYE LIAM.

dann - Decent until injured, WE MISSED HIM BUT JIRENEK CAME IN AND HAS BEEN BRILLIANT. HOPE BECAUSE HE HAS BEEN INJURED WE CAN KEEP HIM.

johnson - great talent but think we was always a stepping stone for him, wont ever play for england as doesnt do enough with the ball when in possesion. PHILLIPS ALSO DUG HIM OUT ON TALKSPORT SAYING HE WANTS TO LEAVE! BYE ROG. SELL TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER!

davies - difficult start to his blues career but mom at spurs, WILL BE A ROCK NEXT SEASON.

jiranek - great performance in cup final, unlucky with injuries. HAS BEEN GREAT, WE DIDNT MISS DANN WITH HIM IN THE TEAM, SHAME HE STRUGGLED WITH INJURIES TOWARDS THE END.

bowyer - Once it broke in the media we wasnt gonna offer him a contract he put in some great displays, done well, will move on now.

ferguson - second half of the season very average, another one who seems more interested in himself, take it from the way he waved at the fans on sunday will be gone. - AGREE NOT AS GOOD AS LAST SEASON, SHAME BUT PROB LEAVE TO GET 1 LAST PAY DAY.

larrson - never been the same player since all the contract issues, should be remembered as a decent servant to the club - will leave for better contract and who can blame him. CHIPPED IN WITH A FEW GOALS THAT COULD OF SAVED US, PUT IN A SHOCKING DISPLAY V SPURS.

gardener - key goals that got us to cup final, league effort nearly saved us, need more players who want to die for the club like him. THINK COS HE IS A BLUENOSE FANS AUTOMATICALLY LOVE HIM, TIMES THIS SEASON THE GAME HAS BEEN TO FAST FOR HIM AND HE GETS LOST, BUT JONNY ON THE SPOT BREAKING FROM MIDFIELD TO SCORE GOALS.

phillips - tried his best but at the end of his career, good luck to him. GOT SOME STARTS AND DID VERY LITTLE.

jerome - stuck on his own for most of the season but will never score goals
in the prem, sell or part ex, had his time. TIME TO MOVE ON.

fahey - good squad player but nothing else at the moment, needs more time -BALL RETAINER, DECENT PLAYER WITHOUT DOING ANYTHING EXPLOSSIVE, WILL SHINE IN CHAMPIONSHIP.

beausejour - some decent moments when he got the chance, hope to see more of him next season and will develop into a decent player - SAME, ON BIG WAGES THOU.

martins - one fantastic moment in the clubs history, shame about the injuries, could be a good signing if we can get him cheap enough - WOULD OF SCORED THE GOALS TO KEEP US UP IF STAYED FIT.

zigic - some key goals, was getting better by the game, not sure if he will stay thou - WOULD OF SCORED GOALS TO KEEP US UP IF STAYED FIT.

hleb - didnt get the minutes on the pitch for various reasons, showed signs of a decent player, should have been used more by alex - GIVEN PLENTY OF PLAYING TIME, DIDNT FIT IN WITH TEAM, 1 OR 2 DECENT TOUCHES AND QUALITY. ILL DO THAT FOR HIS WEEKLY WAGE!

bentley - complete waste of space, typical over paid supposed star, good riddence, wont be suprised to see him dissapear from football altogether in the next couple of years. - CAME IN AND WON MAN OF THE MATCH 3 OR 4 TIMES, GOT INJURED AND NEVER GOT BACK INTO TEAM.

derbyshire - another waste of space, no wonder he didnt get a look in most of the time - 4 PREM STARTS, NEVER GIVEN A CHANCE, 9 STARTS 3 GOALS, JEROME 35 STARTS 5 GOALS.

Foster - Premiership keeper. Will attract offers. We'll probably sell.
Carr - Not sure he'll want a season in the Championship.
Ridgwell - Better LB than CD. Hope he stays.
Dann - Will be in demand from some big clubs. We'll probably sell.
Johnson - At an age where he probably thinks that any Premiership club would be better than the Championship. We'll probably sell.
Davies - Will now become our first choice CD - and will finally show his value.
Jiranek - Solid. Would love us to sign him. We probably wont.
Bowyer - Agree. Past his best, but could still do a job in championship
Ferguson - The man who got us playing football on the ground - and then unfortunately decided that EVERYTHING had to go through him. Both a help and a hindrance. He may stay. Dont mind that much if he doesn't.
Larrson - The man who made me eat my words and restored my faith in footballers. I've loved his attitude this season. Played like he loved the club that he was obviously destined to leave. Deserves a move.
Gardener - Goalscoring midfielder who wants to win. Hope we keep him.
Phillips - No legs, but plenty of enthusiasm. Time to retire.
Jerome - Pace and enthusiasm isn't enough. Lacks a first touch, a footballing brain, and vision, instinct, and ability. He needs to move on. We need him to move on. Sold!
Fahey - Squad player.
Beausejour - Needs a bit more confidence in his ability going forward and would slaughter the Championship. Hope we keep.
Martins - I'd take him in the Championship in a second. Doubt we'll pay the wages he'd want.
Zigic - Another big earner who will have to go.
Hleb - Not a player you need for a relegation battle.
Bentley - Ditto x 10. Back to Spuds.
Derbyshire - Makes Jerome look like a striker. Back to Olympik.

Plus

Redmond - This guy should be a Championship star next season.
Asante - This guy could be a Championship star next season.
Mutch - Ditto.

Foster - 9 - won us so many points and was vital to the cup win. Sloppy mistakes in recent weeks has cost us a couple of points

DEFENDERS

Carr - 8 - Bags of energy and gives 100% every game. Game time probably caught up with him and the legs were running on empty, but he never puts in a bad shift

Johnson - 6.5 - Started well, scored some vital goals and put in some BIG performances but recently hasn't done it. Has been poor since Wembley really

Dann - 7 - we have missed him no doubt, but before his injury we were starting to falter at the back. When Jiranek initially stepped in we improved a lot defensively, but since Wembley we've been a walking disaster without him

Jiranek - 6 - Started with a shocker of a half against West Ham, then didnt put a foot wrong till Wembley. Had a giant performance against Arsenal but has struggled ever since. Cost us points against Fulham, and has looked uncertain alongside Johnson

Ridgewell - 6 - Lots of effort, and some important goals at the start of the campaign but has been quiet recently. Defensively fragile and hasn't gone forward anywhere near as much. Silly handball at newcastle cost us a point

Parnaby - 5.5 - Came in and did well against Bolton and Sunderland, played well in the cup and hasn't done much wrong. Not a natural left back and it showed against Fulham and Chelsea.

Davies - 6 - The only bright spark yesterday, hopefully the fans get off his back as he will have a massive part to play next season.

MIDFIELD

Beausejour - 6 - Took time to settle, had a couple of promising games before a nightmare at Stoke then got injured. Has been a bright spark recently and he should be a great player in the championship

McFadden - n/a - Had little influence in the season, no prem goals but we have no doubt missed his flair and creativity

Bowyer - 5 - Some good games, some vital goals but a lot of nothing performances. The legs aren't what they were, although his performances at Wembley and against Villa in the CC were fantastic.

Fahey - 4 - Wasted on the left, average in the middle, he is Barry Ferguson with a slightly better shot but lacks his hustle and bustle. A championship player, but had a great game at Wembley

Ferguson - 5.5 - Good passer of the ball, whenever he played well blues played well but that was all to rare. Sat way too deep which invited pressure on us. been a great servant for blues but time to move on IMO

Gardner - 8 - true blue born and bred. His goals have been massive and his driving force in midfield has been the only real attacking intent we've had. He will be pivotal to next season and his goal against West Ham will live long in the memory

Larsson - 6.5 - poor first half of a season but excellent second half of a season. Last few games he was a let down, but he gave his all and has been a great servant to the club.

Bentley - 4/7 - when he came he was great, but just hasn't looked interested for the most part. Thinks he is better than he is. Could have fired us to safety but has been a disappointment

Hleb - 3 - Too injury prone and too lightweight. Haven't been able to find a place for him in the side, and, not his fault, but he just didn't fit in. Whenever he started to play well he got injured. A massive let down

FORWARDS

Jerome - 5.5 - Gave his best, ran defences ragged but just didn't get enough goals. he misses Chucho, didn't get much service but needed to score more.

Phillips - 5 - a couple of good games in the cup, a good game against Bolton but just hasnt done it. Looked a passenger against Wolves and Fulham and isn't up to the pace of the Prem

Derbyshire - 3 - no premiership goals, lacks pace and strength. Simply hasn't done it. Didn't get many chances, but the fact that his best two games were against Villa and Blackpool where he missed sitters says it all

Zigic - 8 - Got injured at the wrong time. Took time to adjust but was playing well and scoring goals. With a fully fit Zig we would not have gone down.

Martins - 10 - You know why

Might be the only person who thinks this, but I'm not convinced Ridge did deliberately handball at Newcastle...

Ok

remember we have just gone down with these players........

Foster 7 Is he English , just like any good non english keeper brilliant saves sprinkled with silly mistakes, 2 poor mistakes for fulham and spurs 1st goals. but during the season I think player of the year was the right result. Would be a massive bonus to keep him though

Carr 7 I think his last year, put it in but looked very leggy in some games. Might not fancy another year in the CC

Parnaby 4 to injury prone to keep really.

Murphy 4 never looked fit, not a prem defender. A year in the CC if Ridge goes

Ridge 5 a championship CB, bottom 6 Prem full back, gets bonus goals, still prone to a ricket. Can go if he wants

Dann 8 proved to be the turning point of the season for me, when he got injured we lost 2 CB's. I think our biggest asset and will go

RJ 4 Never the same after Dann's injury and since Wembley has been complete pants. Off you pop

Jiranek 5 2 or 3 excellent games, looked a real star, fell away through injury.Gone

Davies 4 looked really poor, however showed to be a real prospect at Spurs. I think will be a star next year.

Seb 6, Poor till January , picked up for a final place and then a move. Gone

Fergie 6 not the legs for 442, affective sitting in a 5, not sure he would have the legs for a season in the CC

Bow 3. Legs gone 12 months ago. Toddle off to QPR.

Mutch 4 . Criminally under used , came back from the CC on a high and in form. Star next year???

Gards 5 for being top scorer, let us down badly against Wolves. Will be a real asset in the CC though, Goal scoring midfielder.

Fahey 5 out of position for most of the season , played well when given a CM start. Could be the man to fill Fergie boots in the CC.

Beau 4 Not found his feet yet, if he stays , a major asset next year??

Bentley 2 over paid , over hyped self important rubbish. Gone and forgotten

Helb 2 used us as a vehicle to get a move back to the prem, rubbish! Gone and forgotten.

Martins 5 for his wembley goal, his goals would have kept us up...but. Gone!

Phillips 3 see Bowyer

Derbyshire 3 never given a chance to show his worth, is he good enough? Who knows, what are his wages???? Could be worth a punt in the CC??

CJ 6 our only forward of any note, BUT doesn't score and we need goals in the CC. Sell if we get the right offer.

Zig 4 slow start , started to get there, Wembley goal , he could have kept us up....but!!!! Will be totally US around those CC CB's

Alex.....4 for the cup, BUT never solved the left sided problem all season, when defence started to ship goals he couldn't respond. Simpathy with the injuries to Martins and Zig which didn't help..... Do or die next year

Foster - 9 - incredible, there's not enough superlatives to describe him

Carr - 7.5 - rock solid, like Cafu bombing down the wing
Dann - 8 - great
Johnson - 8 - superb but lost form as season progressed
Ridgewell - 6 - slightly better than average

Larsson - 7 - enjoyed watching him do battle week in week out, gave everything to the cause and showed some quality
Ferguson - 6 - panics if he goes past the half way line, slows play down
Gardner - 10 - immense! The man, the legend. Always delivers. Heart and soul of our team and makes me proud
Fahey - 5 - so much talent but fails to deliver

Jerome - 4 - some great hold up play, can't hit a barn door
Zigic - 8 - what a player he turned out to be, caused mayhem and was totally unmarkable

Bowyer - 5 - flashes of brilliance but the legs are going
Phillips - 7 - did well when called upon
Beausejour - 5 - good at holding the ball up but doesn't seem to beat defenders. Has an eye for goal but you never know which Beau will turn up
Jiranek - 8 - excellent when fit, best player in the CC final

Hleb - 5 - non entity due to not being used
Bentley - 0 - probably on the sunbed oiling himself up looking 'reem' right now - that's more important
Derbyshire - 0 - put a wig on him and he won't look out of place in the women's league
Davies - 5 - awful start, outstanding finish
Redmond - 9 - looks like a real star

McLeish - 0 - we shouldn't have been relegated, he had enough resource. Failure is unacceptable

The board - 0 - failure to act really cost them. Listen to the fans next time rather than call us internet warriors - we had very valid points behind our arguments and saw this happening - you didn't!!

Fans - 10 - who would be a City fan? :(

Foster - 7 very good, but not managed to really live up to Hart, however little to complain about

Carr - 6 shaky start grew into the season, then faded
Dann - 7 - can't complain
Johnson - 6 - good till we lost Dann
Ridgewell - 7 - scored some goals, largely played well

Larsson - 6 - very poor first half, got better
Ferguson - 6.5 - poor end to the season but good start on the whole
Gardner - 8 - our Stevie G, should be made captain.
Fahey - 5 - unremarkable

Jerome - 4 - effort, with no end product.
Zigic - 7 - did well throughout and got better.

Bowyer - 4 - difficult season on the whole
Phillips - 5 - scored some good goals, nothing special when he played in reality.
Beausejour - 6 - grew with each passing game
Jiranek - 6 - superb carling cup, average to poor in the league

Hleb - 2 - idiot
Bentley - 4 - fantastic when he joined, then awful after the injury.
Derbyshire - 4 - did what he could, but outrageously lightweight.
Davies - 6 - will be key in the future.
Redmond - 8 - looks like a real star
Mutch 7 - done very well when involved

McLeish - 5 superb in the cup. Awful in the league

The board - 5 - I think spent more money than we might realise, however could have done more, no doubt.

Fans - 7 - unbelievable at times, however often flat, I blame the manager for that.
