him and dann would be the two players id be most gutted about losing.

That's my biggest concern now we are down

Liverpool have been linked to Scott Dann as well.......Kenny Dalglish really rates him according to one paper

Plus Dann is a Scouser as well

We should ask silly money.....but I'd love Scott to stay **thumbup

Gardner is staying,
Trust me when I tell you that, I have it from a reliable contact

I wasn't talking about Gardner

It's Scott Dann I want us to keep hold of...........and of course Ben Foster and hopefully Davis as well

The rest of them ? I'll be brutally honest it would honestly not bother me either way whether they go or stay

The whole squad needs to revamped .....around Foster, Davis and Dann

And I can honestly say that I'd be very surprised if we get any offer for Gardner, if we did say get a 2-3 million pound bid, bite their hands off

But in the Championship he would be an asset to us as well if he continue with his goalscoring

Oh come off it Parti... £2m-£3m!?

Yes, at 24 and after his first season of being a regular starter, progressing well, scoring 10 goals from midfield, and looking as if he will only continue to get better, his transfer fee valuation has gone down from the time Blues bought him, and no premier league side would even consider him.

Parti... Laughing in face of the facts. You may genuinely not rate Gardner, but it's beginning to seem as if you've become so frustrated with supporters slagging off Hleb, Bentley, Cam, AMc, etc. that you've decided to take aim at an undoubted favourite in revenge, and you've gone out of your way to continue the assault recently.

Really need a leader both on and off the pitch next season, I really think Gardner will be that player. I hope he stays and we will build our team around him.

I really don`t understand why we are discussing Gardner, because in my eyes he is a stone wall certainty to stay, thank god....

Unfortunately.... and very, very worryingly he`s the only one I can say that about !!!!

Yeah we need Gardner next season.

His goal yesterday showed why - brilliant strike.

He did let us down against Wolves, but he has also got us back into games this season aswell.

Got to keep him at all costs in my opinion. I think he'll want to stay, but if we don't come back up next season, well who knows then...

im only letting people know what ive heard.
my close relative knows his family, and they seem very adament he will leave.
liverpool was mentioned as a destination in conversation.
i for one will be dissapointed as a bluenose he would be a very valuble asset to the club next year in order to take us up.
you have to draw a line however, football is a job and even though he is a fan, should he or would he leave to make sure he plays premierleague football?

One of my mates is his cousin and said he definitely won't leave, I wouldn't trust anything unless it happens.

I know you don't get down to the ground much but sometimes Parti, you're a real *silly person*.

Of all the outfield players, Gardner's loss would be the biggest and hardest felt. Not just by the team where he plays like a man possessed and is our leading scorer but the fans here would be gutted... The boy is Blue through and through and I for one would feel completely betrayed by a board that sold him.

I don't believe I am alone in my views - not by a long way!

Now I'm not Gards greatest fan , BUT, he is just the type of midfield player we need if we are to get back up, box to box, goal scorer.

Mutch also scored 6 from midfield in half a season at Watford, and was excellent in the championship, in fact watford tailed off after he left!!!

We need goals next year and them 2 are 20 plus if they get the games.

Gardner MUST stay even if we have to up his wages, he is our talisman and top goal scorer for the season from midfield, think a prem club will come in for him to be honest and it would have to be 6 million minimum for us to consider an offer.
Not that bothered if Dann goes to be honest as I see Davies being a better player next season than Dann.

This is ridiculous

Now this guy wants to sacrifice Dann and keep Gardner ?? :LMAO:

And someone else on here reckons Gardner could become a legend like Trevor Francis

Oh My God, people ! Some of you need to get off the waccy baccy

All I said was that if we got 3 million for Gardner we should bite their hands off .....that is all we roughly paid for him

If Gardner stays in the Championship then fair enough.....to be honest he should excel in that standard because 'top half' Prem quality he most definitely ain't

He scored another great goal at Spurs Yes but I just watched the match again and for the 1st Pavyulchenko goal the ball went literally between Gardner's legs straight into the path of Pavyulvchenko....it was quite comical defending I almost cried ....although it has to be said Jerome also gave up on a challenge and then Larsson got easily so easily dispossesed on the touchline as well it resembled a training session goal

He should be a right back I'm telling you

And as for "man possessed"" ???: Yes, he cost us two valuable points v Wolves and I know of quite a Blues fans who are singling him out for our drop to the N Power and add to the fact he served at least 7 games under suspension as well ......he was foolish against Wolves and cost us dearly....same goes for Ridgewell v Newcastle

Get over yourselves with this daft "Love In" just because you might know him, went to school with him or drink with him at weekends

But I mean sell Dann and keep Gardner :LMAO:

I've heard it all now......and if CG was that great , the Villa would never have let him go.....wasn't O'Neill in charge of them at the time .....and he knows talent
