Thought so.

Maybe the club should get him back...surely he's got to be better than the strike force that's already at the club?

Forssell will forever be a Blues legend but I don't want to see him back at Blues In a playing role.... He's knees are shot and we would be paying him to sit on the doctors table for 90% of the season....

Maybe bring him back as an attacking coach once he retires as we all know he don't half know where the back of the onion bag Is.....

We wont have any strikers left bar Asante, after the summer

Zigic, Jerome will be sold.
Phillips will leave on a free.
Derbyshire will go back.

If he would come back, on a low-ish wage, and be willing to be back up, then sign him up.

We missed him vs Fulham two weeks back.

Sad fact is, Jerome isnt good enough to be first choice, but he HAD to be, because of injuries to Martins and Zigic (or them not being here first half of the season (Martins) and settling in (Zigic)).

Without him, which is a big reason of us going down, is we lacked any real sort of pace whatsoever.

I guarantee, if yesterday had been a Cup Final, everyone of those players would have been fit, and Cameron Jerome would have played far better than what he did.

Good call.

I also would put my Mortgage on Forsell getting more goals than Jerome this season. To be honest given a start i would have!

I miss the Forse as well. I did as soon as he left. His goals alone in one season kept us up and as far as I'm concerned he's been our most profilic scorer for donkey's years.

But for him to come back? Firstly, how old is he now? And secondly (as already mentioned), how are his knees now? They were bad ages back, so I'm worried if the geezer could be half-crocked.

I know he's on twitter (which Im not) but is he on facebook?

The man's a bluenose legend and I hope that's never ever forgotten.

He only just turned 30 a couple of months ago... I've no idea how his knees are at the moment.

I'd just imagine there'd be a massive feel good factor signing him back... It would quickly subside dramatically however once he failed to score 20 before mid-season.

I worry about the expectation levels, because I get the impression there's going to be some damage to his knees that's irreversible.

Fraid I'm not a Zigic fan BUT someone on here pointed out about a partnership with him and Forse, and yes, I reckon that would be a really good shout (knees prevailing).

Though it might have Eck sweating the thought of having two up front, so it probably wont happen.

Not sure Forsell would be able to handle a full season of football. While him coming back would be nostalgic I do think he would struggle to stay fit and his Blues reputation might suffer.
