When most on here said they would take the cup and relegation against survival and losing at Wembley, must admit I was very surprised at the number who said cup and relegation , being honest how many who said cup and relegation have changed their minds after seeing how many top players will probably leave and the financial situation we will be in if we do not get back up over the next few seasons.?

Not me, At least now we have a Trophy in My Lifetime. At least now we can say we are more succesful than the Vile this Century.

League football is where all the money is, but by god it's dull as dishwater. The best any club can hope for is midtable or at best a Europa League spot????? zzzzzzzzz With Man City stepping up it just makes another club join the Champions League Crowd.

Even Harry Redknapp admitted it in his interview after our match, Called Spurs fans Idiots for expecting more than 5th spot.

If I wanted to look forward to midtable mediocrity I would support that shower down in B6.

At least our seasons are filled with excitement, The Premier League has it's positives & yes it's where we need to be to get the players to win cups like this season. But it also means we are served up some pretty shocking football.

A year in the Championship will be exciting & a promotion race to look forward to hopefully & then signing some players of quality who want to be at the blues. Keep your Hlebs & 60k a week Bentleys & show us next season what Nathan redmond & Jordon Mutch are all about. They both look very promising & may get more than a look in next Season.

Anyway, off down to Perry Barr for the speedway for the Summer, Birmingham sitting just outside playoff spot & have already beat Last years Champions Coventry. Come on you Brummies!!!

we've waited all our lives to win something.... and you could only dream of winning it the way we did and against that opposition (who the week previously beat Barcelona)

Is being in the premier league all that anyway? The quality of football that we play certainly isn't, the ground is still a third empty (ok more away fans may attend) but saying that there are some big clubs in the championship next season ..

Don't get me wrong, I'm a little p!ssed off and a bit embarrassed because of how close relegation was .... but 136 years of nothing ended on a day no true Blues fans will ever forget....

It's got to be the cup .... all day long for me

It would have been a successful season if we had won the cup, got relegated and received AM's resignation.

Why thank you kind sir! :)

Not sure why peoples lives are practically over because we got relegated???

I go to the footie to be entertained?? Most of this season outside of the great cup runs was dull as....

I see being a yo-yo club as an entertaining draw for the fans, The relegation scraps, promotion battles. Some brilliant matches (remember Colin Doyle saving that last minute Penalty at the Molineux, my head nearly came off) Needing to beat Preston at home to go up & losing, then needing a win at Reading & getting it. Great great days. All from the championship...

So what we don't play Manure for a season.

Anyone who would trade Midtable football for a trophy has forgotten that football is meant to be entertainment & the business element of the game is for the board to worry about.

Roll on Away to Brighton & Blackpool I say!!! Seaside days out, better than 5 trips to london & 4 to greater Manchester!! Though I will miss the Derbys. :(

I would take survival only because I fear for the long term surival of the club, going into administration would mean honest hard working folk at the club losing their jobs. For me the joy of the cup has been wiped out by relegation, it feels meaningless.

Just my opinion.

Definitely the cup, one of the best days ever supporting Blues.

I've seen us relegated 8 times, I've seen us promoted 8 times and I'm sure I'll see a lot more yet but I've only seen us win a major trophy and get into Europe once.

It'll be the cup win every time for me. :kro:

Agree 100%.

I will never see Blues win a cup again but there is every chance we will get promotion.

Don't get me wrong I am gutted by our relegation but there is too much doom and gloom about. Let's look forward and all get behind the team next season.

I said it before the final that id take the cup and relegation and though at the time i probably thought we'd not get relegated i still stand by that. Simply existing in the prem is meaningless without silverware in any respect but financially, that day blues did something i never thought id see and im sure in time we'll be back in the prem, hopefully not too much time!
