Sad but that’s what you get from all these "jonnie come lately supporters", glory supporters, were better off without them. You my friend are the Mug

I shall renew Next Week

KRO

1962 was my first game. A season ticket holder on and off for 25 years - a Jonny Come Lately? Do me a favour bluerinse.

Nope, we've long established that you're a fair weather fan.

As for the season ticket take up, Andy Walker tweeter today that take up had been better than expected. I'll try to post his exact tweet when I get home.

EDIT: Here it is...

"Heard encouraging news on y'day's ST sales. Plenty of #BCFC fans quick to commit themselves to next season's cause so soon after relegation."

a. Where's your evidence to make such a claim
b. So what?
c. You've got it in your power to make it 10k + 1. You going to rise to the challenge of cheering your team back to the Premiership, or haven't you got the willpower?

I think we will sell about the same number as last year.

Just purely bang per buck ratio means its mad for any Blues fan not to have a ST.

23 home games for £400 is a bargain

Plus you will most likely need a season ticket if you want to travel to any of the Europa away games.

Plus fewer of the games will be available on Al-Jazeera in the pubs.

"jonnie come lately supporters"...
You must be joking Bluerinse. I respect your opinion and fair play for renewing. But don’t judge me, when you don’t know me. I am only 23 years old; I have had a season ticket for 9 years, 4 of those years I was sat on my own as my mates weren’t interested (That soon changed). I have seen us go up, go down, go up etc, I have missed about 5 away games in the past 4 seasons, and yes of course, Wembley this season was one of the best days of my life.

BUT in MY opinion, this board, keeping boring, negative, useless, doesn’t have a clue McLeish IS mugging me off, and if they think they are receiving ANOTHER 400 odd quid off me this month for a renewal, they can think again. I have ploughed god knows how much money into this club since the age of 14, yes all be it the first few years my dads money, but the past 6 years home and away have cost me thousands, and what for? To watch boring, negative rubbish week in week out? I actually wake up on a Saturday morning now thinking for god sake, I have to go to the blues today. WHY IS IT LIKE THIS??!?!! I use to look forward to games from Thursday onwards!! Use to wake up on a Saturday morning buzzing ready for the game!!

Until it gets back to this, I WILL NOT BE MUGGED OFF ANYMORE!!

Well I've just renewed and was more than happy to do so - £380.00 works out at just £16.52 a game!!!

It's not Carson Yeung's club, it's not Peter Pannu's club, it's not Alex McLeish's club -
IT'S OUR CLUB, SO BACK IT :kro:

That's your choice.

Don't label us mugs for choosing to be part of the Blues next season though, and still get the buzz on matchday, regardless of the football being served up.

Actually, according to Andy Walker, season ticket sales for the last two days have been up from the same period last year.

That may not continue of course (and I wouldn't really expect it to), but it does rather make one question the automatic assumption that some have that the attendance at Stans next year will be slightly lower than three men and a dog.

Perhaps some of them mistakenly thought they were buying tickets for the Olympics.

Never in a million years.

We'll have 10,000 season tickets holders easily, if not more. Then you'll have the fans that pay per match so I expect it to be an average of between 15k & 20k.

Just because there are a few people posting on here that have given in to McLeish and his management style does not mean this is the norm.

I know plenty of Blues fans who are renewing they just don't feel the need to come on here and shout about it. Also, at the end of the Fulham game everyone that sits around me said see you next season because they'd either already renewed or were going to renew regardless of the division we are in.

Perhaps some of them mistakenly thought they were buying tickets for the Olympics.

Perhaps all of them feel that supporting Blues means going to the game and cheering the team on regardless, and not posting smart alec, self-denegrating comments on a message board.

Perhaps.
