Last i looked this was a forum
Positive or negative anyone can feel free to post within the rules of the forum. The forum and its previous incarnations has always been the same. You will always have those opposed to some elements of the club and those who others might view as showing blind faith.
We cant all get on but i just wish people would show the same amount as respect to someone that they would if they were stood in front of them.
We all have a shared desire and thats for Blues to be a successful club, we might think its achieved in different ways but we all want the same goal.

I wrote on information I received somewhere else, proccy, and because I hadn't heard from you in quite some time I naturally assumed that you were in fact banned. Sorry for any misunderstandings on this issue.
apology kindly accepted - now carry on

I think this thread is silly. So long as people stick within the rules then they should be allowed to express their opinion.
Just as you might not want them to bring anti-McLeish sentiments into every thread, it also gets tiresome when people constantly bring pro-McLeish sentiments in too!
We all perceive things differently. Nothing is going to change that and, to be honest, I can see how a lot of people are getting really annoyed that McLeish is still in charge. It's no surprise that they 'hijack' every thread if they think that McLeish is the ROOT of the problems.
Like I said, this is all a bit silly. Follow the rules of the forum and everything should be fine.
However, am I allowed to hijack this thread and say that I am getting really frustrated with whole threads being pulled because some can't follow the rules?
Please stop it Mods, because that is causing not solving problems. It is stifling debate and it feels that, just when things get interesting, a topic will be pulled. This means that people try to get their opinions into the other topics instead. It has to be said that the topics which are pulled are often those which have a leaning towards anti-McLeish feelings. Please keep things balanced and then you won't see these problems.
Also, I cannot honestly see how this particular thread ISN'T breaking the rules as it is a personal attack on other members, specifically named in the title. I would hate to think that there is one rule for one opinion, and another for the other.
O.k, hijack rant over :)

I think the majority of the fans now fall in the category of:
Mcleish should have gone, but the board have backed him. So I will give him and the team my backing for next season.

By now we all know your opinion of Alex McLiesh so I just wondered why you keep bringing your desire to see him go into everythread on the board? In my mind its hijacking all the threads, which I am pretty sure is a bannable offense, just ask Proccy and Drnick ;) But thats not my main point, my main point is this, you are trying to bully the non-outers on this forum into your way of thinking. I mean it can't be because you think Alex comes on this board so it must just be bully boy tactics. The place for Alex out comments would be in a thread about wanting to gt Alex out, so why not start one? The you can preach to the converted!
Sorry, but if anything we've been the victims of bullying if any such thing has taken place. You are simply trying to whip up trouble with your nasty little post because you simply can't stand the fact that some people don't happen to agree with you. Surely following a catastrophic relegation Bluenose of whatever hue are allowed to express an opinion about something as vital to club as it's manager? I imagine that Proccy was banned because of his tiresome 'you're- a-viler-if-you-don't-agree-with-us' mantra which he trotted out ad nauseam. But I take your point: I have tried to influence people to see through McLeish and it hasn't worked so I'll lay off for now but you may be sure I see any more of the drivel he served up last season in the forthcoming campaign then I'll be be back on his case. Up the Blues!!
Where your statement loses all credability is that long before we were relegated you and your mates were carping on about AM, the team, the way we play, the burgers and the office cat!!
In fact, the only time there was deafening silence from your direction was when we were in a situation were you might be forced to say something positive!!
Yes, you do have the right to an opinion but no, you don't have the right to keep repeating it again and again and again presumably in an effort to make the rest of us as miserable as yourselves!!

Surely that is not the case otherwise no one would read anything.
If as we all know SHA is not happy with McLiesh then as long as the thread he is posting in is about that subject then that is fine.
If the thread is about Jerome for instance what would be the point in SHA posting his view on McLiesh in there as it just takes the topic off topic. and the merry go round would continue adhoc.

It depends on the specifics of his argument. If it is about Jerome, but he feels that McLeish is linked to the point he is making, then surely that is valid?
I thought a Mods role was to moderate and make sure that people follow the board rules, not to decide on the salience of an argument! That would be a dangerous road to go down.

A Moderators job is not to change the weather, it is to stop people getting wet. I am worried that, sometimes, this principle isn't adhered to.

The Bear - my problem is the frustration of fans not seeing through him. It may seem that I "hijack" [I,m not a terrorist] a thread but for example a thread on let's buy these players and play this way - so infuriating because McLeish will never change so why have these pie in the sky statements as he'll never do it. Never.
And you will always get a reaction, always, when I read 2In Eck we trust" or "Eck is the most successful" - absolute drivel. He has relegated us twice in 3 years and I will always make that point when I read such stupid statements.
And as for blueblood who made a statement that I am at it everything Blues, well that is totally untrue. It is just McLeish and his backroom staff that I have an issue with. (oh and the mainstand, I wish we could develop it but heyho that's another story)
You never see me having a go at the board like many on here are doing. You never see me having a go at players like many do on here. In fact I defend players because I realise that is how McLeish tells them to play or where to play eg Jerome, Fahey.
So the Bear I am sorry but that's me. I love Blues and I am so frustrated that we are ending up like this. Never in my nearly 50 years of being a Blues fan have I seen the "Blues Family" as divided like this. Again another reason foe me to want rid of McLeish so we can be united again (oh dear I'll get called a Surrey red now)
I think your frustration is that not many people have joined your Mcleish out campaign. so you just hijack most threads with you constant belittling of our manager. in the hope you can recruit more to your crusade, but as a recent survey showed on here you are still in the minority. in Eck i trust
..err what recent surveys. This forum is full of diehards who only see blue and will stick up for McLeish. You'll find that the majority of bluenoses want him gone. I am talking about the majority of the 40,000 different people who watched us last season not the 100 or so on here. Just look for the empty seats next season, you'll see what your McLeish is doing to the Blues.
Look in the poll section you will see it in there
54% - 46% not much in it and as this forum is so blue-specced and partisan I am surprised it is that close. Mind you those polls are a waste of time really because it does not reflect the real world out there. Lets have a look at the AV (Altrernative Vote) Poll on there mmmmm 54% yes , I think in the real world the vote was 30% yes and 70% no. You're clutching at straws mate.
his forum is way more anti-mcleish than real life. i have spoken to about a hundred blues fans who i know, and most of them are happy that mcleish is still here. I don't think you understand what the cup wins means to be average bluenose.
it is the first time we have seen true success in our lifetime, and might be our last! Even though we have gone down we have sold over 800 more season tickets than this time last year.
The first bluenose i saw on Monday said to me"thank god mcleish is still here". Personally i hate him for taking us down, but i forgive him because he won the cup, and has given us a history and a trophy that will stay with us forever.
Also your lot can't sing "you've never won **** all" anymore  :fishing:

I would not say the forum is full of die hards. I would say a majority of the people using it see where the errors have been made and have expressed their opinion on the various subjects and attempted to take on board what others are saying. and have debated the issues and moved on. In your case you don't appear to there are threads where you let everyone know your view of McLiesh which is fine as long as its on topic but soemtimes your frustartions seem to ge the better of you and we get "McLiesh out" popping up everywhere. It obvious you care passionately about blues for which you should be appaluded. but sometimes your passion gets the better of you. The empty seats may well because of McLiesh but imo they are just as likely because of lack of passion by some who will support Blues no matter what so long as they are in the premiership. and the current economic situation and job security issues will not be helping filling those seats. KRO
Why don'y you give him the lecture you gave me about the poisonous acid and venom he spits at the current manager and the glaringly obvious hatred of McLeish
Even I wasn't this bad when I campaigbed for Bruce to walk.....and many fans agree the football under Bruce after 2005 was worse than Eck's

must say, i was surprised that AM was kept on this time
Me too proccy
I've been one of his biggest supporters since day one but the last 6 games of this season left me shellshocked
I haven't seen such an act of despair and Blues players literally throwing in the towel with games still left in the season for.....Well, I can't even remember......the late 80's team were bad but the club was in a financial mess way back then anyway
AM has done a brilliant job in his 3 and a half years but with a 3rd relegation in just 5 years I do believe a change of direction at playing level and a clean sweep of the squad (trying to keep 2 or 3 of our assets such as Foster of course) was perhaps needed this time
I still have my own hunch that there was a loss of the dressing room toward the end of the season or words exchanged between players and coaches during taining periods......I also have a hunch that with two months or more before the new season starts that there still could be changes at BCFC
During the last 6 games McLeish was let down by many players but in this business he has to take the heat......That's the nature of the Beast
There's a lot of coming and goings in the summer every year
But if Eck does remain then as a Loyal Blues fan I have to back him again to do what is right

Surely following a catastrophic relegation Bluenoses of whatever hue are allowed to express an opinion about something as vital to club as it's manager?
[/QUOTE] You are absolutely right when you say that long before we were relegated I was carping about Alex and many other things! Do you know why? Because I saw that under McLeish it was INEVITABLE that we would be relegated and to prove it I put my money where my mouth was and backed us to go down. I did this at the BEGINNING of the season when everyone was all agog with our fine season the year before in which we finished 9th!
You see I thought THEN that we were relegation fodder and by golly I got that one right didn't I? For someone who been accused recently of being insane, of being a fool, of not knowing anything about football and much worse besides I did rather well didn't I? How much did Pari win on his forecast of us winning 6-9th, I wonder?
I tried to warn you guys but you chose to gag the messanger rather than listen to the message. Life was ever thus, I suppose.

Papaulski.... I'm on the fence to whether he should have been sacked. I think maybe 10 games and see where we are
Haven't we been saying that in every window for the past 3 years?
Any discussion about the Blues players has to include the manager because he controls what goes on in the field of play (except the Wembley game when the players shook off his negative tactics and played for themselves).

flipping eck..................... handbag city.
he's the manager for next season as directed by the board. clarified by the statement on the bcfc.com last news feed.
whether your pro or anti AMC he's here for the forseable future so deal with it and move on.
i would prefer a change but it's not going to happen so i've decided to take a positive stance and give him my full support and trust.
Prem or blue square league i'm bcfc through and through and always will be.
come on noses lets be glass half full supporters for once in our life's.

Oh ! I've seen everything now :LMAO:
So for the Carling Cup Final then Alex stayed away from the training ground all week, stayed off the team coach travelling to London, stayed well away from the dressing roon before the match and at HT and just posed for pictures on the touchline all afternoon in his new suit :applause:
Jeeze !!....how some people will gladly change their skin in an attempt to not give McLeish any credit or praise whatsever .......Chameleon City
