I think the majority of the fans now fall in the category of:

Mcleish should have gone, but the board have backed him. So I will give him and the team my backing for next season.

KRO

Yep.

But i must say arent you 'positive' group just as bad as the negative lot because you have actually created a thread moaning about people always moaning!

By now we all know your opinion of Alex McLiesh so I just wondered why you keep bringing your desire to see him go into everythread on the board? In my mind its hijacking all the threads, which I am pretty sure is a bannable offense, just ask Proccy and Drnick ;)

But thats not my main point, my main point is this, you are trying to bully the non-outers on this forum into your way of thinking. I mean it can't be because you think Alex comes on this board so it must just be bully boy tactics.

The place for Alex out comments would be in a thread about wanting to gt Alex out, so why not start one? The you can preach to the converted!

If someone posts a comment in a thread that is in a way not connected to the original post then do not reply or comment on that post, simply move on to the next comment. However as AM is the manager of our club he will surely be connected in some way to the majority of posts on this forum. Common sense or am I just being thick or do you wish to become a moderator ?.

The Bear - my problem is the frustration of fans not seeing through him. It may seem that I "hijack" [I,m not a terrorist] a thread but for example a thread on let's buy these players and play this way - so infuriating because McLeish will never change so why have these pie in the sky statements as he'll never do it. Never.

And you will always get a reaction, always, when I read 2In Eck we trust" or "Eck is the most successful" - absolute drivel. He has relegated us twice in 3 years and I will always make that point when I read such stupid statements.

And as for blueblood who made a statement that I am at it everything Blues, well that is totally untrue. It is just McLeish and his backroom staff that I have an issue with. (oh and the mainstand, I wish we could develop it but heyho that's another story)

You never see me having a go at the board like many on here are doing. You never see me having a go at players like many do on here. In fact I defend players because I realise that is how McLeish tells them to play or where to play eg Jerome, Fahey.

So the Bear I am sorry but that's me. I love Blues and I am so frustrated that we are ending up like this. Never in my nearly 50 years of being a Blues fan have I seen the "Blues Family" as divided like this. Again another reason foe me to want rid of McLeish so we can be united again (oh dear I'll get called a Surrey red now)

I think your frustration is that not many people
have joined your Mcleish out campaign.
so you just hijack most threads with you constant
belittling of our manager. in the hope you can recruit more
to your crusade, but as a recent survey showed on here
you are still in the minority.

in Eck i trust

..err what recent surveys.

This forum is full of diehards who only see blue and will stick up for McLeish. You'll find that the majority of bluenoses want him gone. I am talking about the majority of the 40,000 different people who watched us last season not the 100 or so on here. Just look for the empty seats next season, you'll see what your McLeish is doing to the Blues.

Look in the poll section you will see it in there

54% - 46% not much in it and as this forum is so blue-specced and partisan I am surprised it is that close.

Mind you those polls are a waste of time really because it does not reflect the real world out there. Lets have a look at the AV (Altrernative Vote) Poll on there mmmmm 54% yes , I think in the real world the vote was 30% yes and 70% no.

You're clutching at straws mate.

his forum is way more anti-mcleish than real life. i have spoken to about a hundred blues fans who i know, and most of them are happy that mcleish is still here. I don't think you understand what the cup wins means to be average bluenose.

it is the first time we have seen true success in our lifetime, and might be our last! Even though we have gone down we have sold over 800 more season tickets than this time last year.

The first bluenose i saw on Monday said to me"thank god mcleish is still here". Personally i hate him for taking us down, but i forgive him because he won the cup, and has given us a history and a trophy that will stay with us forever.

Also your lot can't sing "you've never won **** all" anymore  :fishing:

We could now change it to 'We've only won one thing............'

must say, i was surprised that AM was kept on this time

Parti....Me too proccy I've been one of his biggest supporters since day one but the last 6 games of this season left me shellshocked

Who is the chameleon, Parti?

I haven't changed my opinion of AM since his first 3 months of tenure. Most new managers at least have a 'new broom' effect, even if it only lasts a few months. With AM, it lasted for one game and it's been downhill all the way since.

Don't cover your tracks

You clearly claimed "the players played for themselves " (your words) therefore insinuated Alex McLeish was just an innocent passer by and spectator at The Carling Cup Final win

Go back and read what you wrote

A chameleon constantly changes it's skin but also will disguise itself when it chooses to (and for it's own needs) .....you did it referring to the Wembley win a sad attempt not to praise the manager in any way, shape or form

Sorry but it's pathetic beyond belief

You just admitted your opinion of AM changed after just 3 months

My opinion of him changed only 6 games ago .....hardly makes me a chameleon when I've been behind him for more than 3 years

I'd have no objection to a new guy coming in and I honestly still think we haven't heard the last of the manager situation at BCFC before a new season starts in August

However if he does really stay on then I will continue to back him.....because I support the club......not any particular individual at the club

No I didn't. I said I hadn't changed my opinion of AM since his first 3 months of tenure. I didn't have any opinion of him up to that point. Believe me, Parti, I would love AM to prove himself as a quality manager but the signs are that he won't.

So 9th in the Premier League last season and a Carling Cup victory against one of the Top 4 sides in England does not merit him that kind of praise ??

Roy Hodgson rescues two smallish clubs out of relegation trouble in the space of 3 years but fails at the Major one

Tony Pulis leads his Stoke team (very negative tactically) to mid table and a Cup Final which they roll over and lose

Roberto Martinez fights relegation scraps on an annual basis and can never persuade his employers to keep his best players

Owen Coyle finishes his team disastrously in 14th after a bright start where they were 6th and 7th most of the season .....a year after walking out on a club who were then relegated

Yet all these guys get referred to as being quality managers

I guess I just don't get it

McLeish can't seem to win anyone over

:crying:
