Home and abroard. Mine are Cornwall, love the little sea side hideaway places you stumble upon, and spent many happy years as a kid goin on holiday there.
Abroard it is Egypt. I stayed in Sharm el shiek, which to be honest ent great, but the trips we went on from there were absolutely fantastic.

I`ve got a young familly and for the next few years we wont be able to go to far so any good idea`s that i`ve never been to in this country would be good. **thumbup

Only been to two places abroad, Benidorm and Marmaris in Turkey, the people in Turkey are a lot more nice and more fun but the attractions like the beach, waterpark and Theme park are much better. The one thing I loved about Turkey was the boat trip and you got to swim in the sea, now where near the shore which was fun and pretty relaxing, I can't remember my homeland holidays very well.

Give me Birmingham's Christmas market any day. You don't know how much you miss home until you go away.

That didn't happen at all to me where I went, happened lots in Benidorm though, people giving out flyers on every corner telling you to go into their pub.

French Riviera for me. At home, it has to be Cornwall because the terrain is so diverse with lots of interesting entertainment venues.... especially golf courses. I went there for Whitsun this year and it took over 8 hours to get there - not a good time to go!

Yeah, thats because Benidorm is a "drinking" holiday destination.

The bar reps are out in force in all those sorts of places - Malia, Kavos, Ayia Napa etc

UK would be Weymouth, just cause it is good for the nipper having a very shallow beach with plenty to do, normally stop at Waterside caravan park.

Abroad would have to say Cyprus, love the people and so much history and great places to visit.

After 25 years of going to almost all the greek Islands I tried Turkey 5 years ago....WOW, it is like the Greek Islands were 25 years ago, the people of Turkey are so much nicer than the Greek people and the food and entertainment is far better and so much cheaper...just wish I had discovered it earlier :drink:
