Not surprised in the least. I know a few who met him last season, and even straight after cup win and without relegation looming he was talking of moving on to bigger things!!

Looks that way, yeah.

I know both will probably go, but if I could choose just one to go out of Johnson and Dann, it'd be Johnson. He's older and looked shaky at times last season.

I say he will be gone as soon as a decent offer comes in for him. However the interest in him seems to have died down so he might be with us for a while longer.

Dann is the better out of the two by a country mile but Johnson would still be a big loss, as long as we get £20m + for the pair it'll soften the blow of losing two such quality centre backs that cost us under £10m

If he goes I hope he fails

Dann made him look good
positionally poor, defends for himself and not the team
poor distribution

wholehearted performances endeared him to the supporters but that is his most telling attribute.

moody so and so off the pitch

Bye

Agree, he has a very big opinion of himself, and thinks he is far better than he really is.

Bye Bye.

Agreed. He had some real stinkers in important games after Dann got injured. And his body language was often bad, looking for others to blame, seemingly seeing himself as above his teammates. If he thinks he's gonna play for Chelsea (the team he supports) or anyone of that calibre then he's dreaming. Sell, sell, sell. If we get £8 million we're laughing.

Lol. Wasn't the chair punching incident against Sheff Weds in the cup, when the game was already decided? Strange behaviour.

Dann's injury showed just how key he was to that centre back pairing. Johnson was positionally awful in a lot of matches at the end of the last season. I can't see any decent side coming in for him if I'm honest.

It's his choice - if he wants to move to Wolves and this time next year, be a division lower than us, then that's his problem.

If he stays, I think him and Davies could be fantastic in the Premier League, but I'd rather sell RJ than Dann.

I'd rather cash in on Dann now tbh, he spends one season in the championship and I'll expect his price to drop significantly.

Met him a few times and he's far from it.

Wouldn't have thought an of the top 6 sides will be looking at him. Same for Dann...too slow for the prem.

He's a full blooded defender who wants clean sheets, and to play every minute he can.

The reason he was took off was due to the close proximity of the Carling Cup final... and im sure he understood it after the game when he'd settled down..at the time though, in the heat of the moment, he didnt want to be took off, and fair play to him.

Roger Johnson: club hero. Fair play to him if he finds himself elsewhere this season.
