Good luck to the bloke **thumbup ,played many times for us when carrying a knock, and 7 million for a guy who can not pass or organise the defence is good money ,for a player who throws himself into tackles he has been very lucky not to pick up a really bad injury in his time with us .

All the best for the future Roger :blues:

Being reported that the fee is less than the quoted £7m

I don't see the problem anyway. Minus his die-hard attitude and ability to throw his face in the way of anything, he was average at best. Without Dann he looked like the amateur school kid who everyone hypes up to be the best player since Pele.

He was / is a very good Premiership defender

I cannot start knocking players ability just because they leave us

I like Davies but he is not JOHNSON / DANN level yet IMO

All the undisclosed fees tell me that the fees are not as blues would like us to believe

I've said it before, i'll say it again. He was extremely average without Dann by his side.

The fee will be classed as undisclosed but still appears as a visible amount in the audited accounts...we may have to wait a good while to know the true figure..

The Dogheads have given him a 4yr contrat the fools..

more improtantly to us its a negative monkey off our backs, and CH can begin to plan

the ambition of the man has to be questioned ,
why leave a team in europe ( granted won't be for long ) and have a good chance of going back up , to go and join a team that will be in a relegation fight from day one .
Thanks for the service roger , but look in the mirror and ask yourself ,
WHAT HAVE I DONE ?.........

Absolutely gutted that he has left us but that's football. He always put in 100% for us and wore the shirt with pride. Outstanding performance in the Carling Cup in which he was clearly injured.

Good luck in the future Roger.

Keep Right On

Good luck to him! I wish these players would take some responsibility for our relegation!! All they think about is them selves.. "desperate to stay in prem" if they we're that desperate they should have carried on playing after feb 27th and we may still be there!

I've said all along that anyone who wants to go should go! I just hope CH gets some cash to sort it out!!

Agree 100% with this.

After everything that's happened to us lately, and the way we've been shafted by so many people, who we thought were on our side, I sincerely hope were now due a change of luck.

To all of you that shafted us, I hope it comes back to bite you on the butt!!

Newspaper headlines for July 2012-

.....Mcleish sacked as villa couldn't beat the drop
.....Gardner puts in numerous transfer requests as he wants regular football!
.....Roger Johnson plea to blues to take him back as wolves trade places with championship winners Birmingham city!
.....Sullivan and gold to buy Aston villa as Lerner is fed up of his "hobby"!
.....Chinese billionaire buys blues and says he'll invest "whatever it takes" to turn Birmingham into a top premier league side!

Oh this would be all my christmas' and birthday's come in one!!

Sorry kind of went off topic a bit.

Its amazing how they've all failed at their job and relegated us, but are still getting promotions in a sense to premier league clubs and probably on better wages.

What a joke.

I certainly won't slag the guy off!

Always put in a decent performance - whilst being managed by idiots!

Good Luck Roger - and thanks for your efforts at The Blues! :kro:
