I wont slag him off, he gave 100% when playing up till about March, but think he was carrying an injury after this!!

I just wish these players would recognise it was their fault as much as anyone elses for relegation!!

Its amazing how they've all failed at their job and relegated us, but are still getting promotions in a sense to premier league clubs and probably on better wages.

What a joke.

not strictly true, some of "those" that have and may well leave got us in the prem in the first place.

It is all well and good slagging players off but lets get just a little bit of realism here. All the while RJ wore a Blues shirt he received our support, the minute he moves on, he is treated with disrespect in some quarters.

RJ - thanks for always giving 100% and for being part of a defence which at one point was the meanest in the league. **thumbup

IF Wolves get relegated he'll be off from there as well. No doubt he'll have a clause written into his contract about that.

4 years at Wolves if they don't get relegated, then Wolves will probably have done very well, but I doubt they will.

Only the better ones are, the majority of the players who got us relegated have been released or are staying.

He gave his all on the pitch but I lost all respect for him after reading the reports of him slighting the club whilst out on the tiles with viler pals. Poisonous character, glad he's gone.

Good luck to you Roger.

I am sure you will be a hero at Wolves.

At least you know you will be busy - unlike playing at the back in a Blues promotion winning side. ;)

I didnt for one minute say that people should not have an opinion, what I suggested (as an opinion) is that there are supporters who have very short memories and using phrases like Judas and good ridance etc for a player that always gave 100% when he put the shirt on deserves a little bit more respect for what he has done during his time here.

Good luck Roger!

Regardless of what happened off the pitch you always gave 100% on it, and that is all we can really ask for. I don't blame you for wanting to stay in the Premier League as you're too good for the Championship. I just wish it wasn't Wolves... :crying:.

Sick of all the people slagging him off, despite the excellent job he's done for us in the past few seasons.

Yeah, he's not as good playing alongside Scott Dann... but he still was a key player for us, played every game more or less, and gave his all... limited in technique, but made up in passion and desire.

When we signed Curtis Davies when we did, I remember thinking then he would be a bargain, and the time was right, as I feared Johnson/Dann would move on anyway... I didnt expect it to be due to relegation, but still.

Good luck Roger! At the end of the day he is a Carling cup winning here and in 20 years time he will be remembered as that!

If I'm honest with all the stuff going on at the club at the moment I can't really blame any players for wanting to leave if the offer of a Premiership club comes in. There is a lot of uncertainty about and I dare say some of the players are concerned that if they stick around then in the months to come they may find that they are not being paid.

It is certainly something that I would be worried about if I was a player or member of staff at the club at the moment.

This is a very good point, and yeah to be fair I expect some of the new boys are thinking 'what have I done!'

Hopefully, once football takes over things will all get better as long as we're top 5ish!

Birmingham City won the Carling Cup

RJ quoted on the pitch that the players did it for themselves, not for the Fans or the club

Yes they may be concerned about the future...but so is half of the working population in England

I can't blame Johnson one bit. Everything he's said in interviews about the Blues, the fans and the transfer etc all sound perfectly reasonable to me. He's a good player and he wants to play at the top level. Its not a bad thing, just a sign that hes a professional. He did well for us and really stuck his body on the line a times.

I think he was probably let down by McJudas just like the rest of us.

He has behaved like a professional footballer...no more no less
why give him any credit

Sad he has gone.

Brilliant footballer who would play through the pain barrier on numerous occasions for that I thank him for and wish him well.

However comments on the pitch at Wembley, in addition to the ones on the evening in the bar I don’t thank him for. Let’s face it footballers are not known for their brains which shows with his press conference comments about wanting to play in the premiership and signs a 4 year contract with Wolves, who we all know will be scrapping for survival yet again next season.

I remember when he joined us Cardiff fan's weren't that bothered he had gone and to be honest neither am I. A 'Billy Big B*****ks' who fell apart when Dann got injured, and always had the impression he would jump ship when the going got tough, a player who sadly thinks he's better than he actually is
