Alot worse have played for England, that's for sure. I just really don't want him to do it at Wolves.

Saying that, he was immense for us last season - far too many on here are quick to forget that. Good player but lost all respect for him.

It's just really sad to see how few players are committed to the club and the fans :(

Its amazing how they've all failed at their job and relegated us, but are still getting promotions in a sense to premier league clubs and probably on better wages.

What a joke.

not strictly true, some of "those" that have and may well leave got us in the prem in the first place.

It is all well and good slagging players off but lets get just a little bit of realism here. All the while RJ wore a Blues shirt he received our support, the minute he moves on, he is treated with disrespect in some quarters.

RJ - thanks for always giving 100% and for being part of a defence which at one point was the meanest in the league. **thumbup

and we should do that becasue they have all spoken of their absolute disappointment at having to leave Birmingham City..nah didnt think so

They are gone..and where people feel the need they can express an opinion

I didnt for one minute say that people should not have an opinion, what I suggested (as an opinion) is that there are supporters who have very short memories and using phrases like Judas and good ridance etc for a player that always gave 100% when he put the shirt on deserves a little bit more respect for what he has done during his time here.

Respect was given during a game...
thats how we pay our respect, and yes he earned it in the main for his wholehearted performances.

But im one of the many that have witnessed his behaviour at the NIA

What happened at the nia b25?

didnt want to be there, spent most of the evening outside on his phone.generally off with anyone who went near him for a photo, exccept for the ladies

The players went on the stage with the Carling Cup and he was visibly seen gesturing to Tom Ross and saying can we go now as in get off the stage

Was the first to leave the arena as soon as the players bit was done

This is what annoys me. All of these players saying that they only want to play in the Prem, its the only place to be, blah blah blah. Its a pity they didn't think about that when they were in the Prem with us and made sure we stayed there. Theres only one group of people to blame for relegation, and thats the players, no one else. But its OK cos they'll just leave when things get tough for them, leaving us the supporters to endure the fruits of their failure in the Championship. And there are people on here wishing them well!!! I wish I could be so generous.

This isn't me "slagging" the player off or anything of the sort but I thought I'd share this with you.

Due to family reasons I'm a regular at Bescot (I live 2 minutes away and my father is a life long Saddlers fan) and I went last night to watch the Walsall v Wolves friendly.

Johnson came on shortly after half time and took the captains armband. He was extremely vocal organising their defence and made a few clearing headers. Then it happened....

Under a fairly innocent looking challenge he want down in agony and crawled to the side of the pitch allowing their physio to deal with him. I know players normally make the most of a challenge but he was off the pitch and clearly in agony with his right knee. He did get back on and spent the rest of the match reminding me of the cup final where he literally limped all over the pitch. If it was a "knock" or "dead leg" he wasn't able to run it off in the remainder of the match.

I've always held the belief he wasn't as effective once Scott Dann wasn't at his side and, admittedly last night was a single game, I can't help feeling he's just not right and there's some underlying issue physically.

Like I said I'm not casting any rumours etc but I thought I'd post about what I say last night.

I think Johnson is a good player for lower Prem sides, but I would be disappointed at the state of English football if he was in the national side.

Many that wanted him in the England side would mainly have only said that as he was a Blues player, and everyone would love a Blues player in the England side.

As I say, good for bottom half Prem, but definitely limited. On the pitch he endears himself to the fans with his last ditch blocks etc.

Although off the pitch is a different case
