No doubt about it....step forward one Ginger Backstabbing Liar!

I think Mike Newall's next in line (also known as Mike FA'll, cause that 's what we got off him!).....signed, got his signing on fee and then promptly came out and said he wanted to leave. At least we got a few decent seasons out of Gobby Cabbage.

Any more suggestions?

Mathew Upson

Went behind Bruce's back and even contacted Sullivan while the owner was in the Caribbean in engineering a move away during 2006/07

Good player ......but didn't have the heart for a battle anymore

Am I mellowing in my old age because I am halfway through writing a sincere thank you to Alex McLeish for fulfilling the impossible dreams I have had for nearly fifty years. Winning a major trophy and watching Blues in Europe have been just wishful thinking but this year I have watched Blues win at Wembley and been to Maribor to complete what has been unattainable for every manager I have seen since Stan Cullis. Put him in any other business than that where emotional football fans are and he would be seen as what he is. The most successful manager we have ever had. Is he a rat? Get real! As a bricklayer I would walk 100 yards from one site to another because of better pay or conditions. Why should a player or manager be any different? We fans are the only ones who will be faithful until the day we die. Football fans may cheat on their wives and girlfriends but when did you last hear of a fan going off and supporting another team? Understand that and it all falls into place.

Take your point

But the boss or foreman of the other site isn't going to employ a bricklayer who just built a house that then collapsed

And to rub salt in the wound the brickie promised to put it right but then went on holiday to a sun kissed French island not to return at all and after asking his old foreman to buy new materials

Look at the way McLeish went about his departure

Yes, he bought us a little success.....but he is still a Rat

BR......Why do have Kenny Burns in your caption ?? .......Burnsie is true BCFC legend .....he never once wanted to leave the club ar ask for a move .....our cheapskate board of the time sold him to Clougie and Forest for a measely offer of 140K when much worse players were going for 500K

Burnsie is a Blues folklore hero .....especially that day (salute) in front of The Holte End in 1976 a
:applause:  :applause:

Spot on Parti.

A true Blues hero is our Kenny.

I spoke to him about five years ago and he is connected with Forest because he lives in the vicinity and also the European Cup wins.. But when I let it be known I am a Blues fan, he was chuffed and couldn't stop talking about Blues. And I told him he was a f+++ing hero for that goal and celebration in front of the Holte End.

I was disappointed that he could not remember serving me a pair a trainers in the mid 70s when he worked in a sports shop in Tamworth during one summer. How times have changed eh? a pro footballer having to work in the close season. For those that know Tamworth the sports shop was in the Middle Entry and it was owned by his wife (girlfriend)'s father.

Back to topic, I cannot think of any "rats" in the past apart from Mike Newall. The biggest rats are Johnson and Gardners. As for McLeish how can he be a rat? how? He was inept and it was such a glorious Sunday back in June when he left - and double bubble he went to B6. The inept and boring ****.

Sullivan and the Board kept CY at arms's length for a good long while before the offer they couldn't refuse was eventually made. No sensible businessman would have turned it down - and they didn't.

The badge kisser. he was supposed to be one of us. He claimed to love the club. He is a Brummie. None of the others mentioned on here are noses. he owed us big time after his sending off against a poor Wolves. No contest in my opinion.

Apart from the usual suspects (McLeish, Gardner etc) perhaps I could add a different suggestion?

Steve Claridge.

At a time when we needed our best players, this guy bitched and played his face (along with Liam Daish - not quite sure why he is branded a hero either) and forced a move out of the club.

Following a good start to 1995/96, once we had lost these two players, we dropped down the table and ended up 15th.

Came across my post by accident as I see its been moved here. Fine - probably the best place for it.

Certainly appears that Alex Mcleish is the biggest rat of all time and should be voted as King Rat.

Seems to be several others still in with a chance of nominations for big rats though.

Any more?

The badge kisser for me. The day we got relegated I called for him to be made captain, then he did the dirty and turned his back on us, never to be forgiven.

Dont blame Gards in the slightest, took a better offer. You would if it was work related. But Mcleish thjat was a low blow!
To me that decision cut across all the respect and admiration I had developed throughout his time in charge.

Never ever thought we would win something or end up in Europe and it was 100% down to him, then he splattered on us! Shamefull!
