Today Feels Important To Me; Players returning to meet Hughton

I've been feeling that today might be a big day for Blues. Many fringe players will be returning to wast hills with renewed enthusiasm and other players will be meeting Hughton for the first time....

Could players suddenly feel a desire to stay and fight?

Could Hughton spot the glaringly obvious failings with some players having been played out of position ie Fahey? This could result in a whole new Fahey? A whole new outlook to the team!?

Has anyone got any inside information from the players first day back? Hows it gone?

I really am intrigued.

I hear Foster and Doyle had a good sesh. And training didn't go too bad either.

not sure what can be achieved in a day..its unlikely he will have spent much time with players that he knows have to go.If CH has been advised that we can keep one or two then they will have been integrated into the group etc..

First few days back is mostly running etc

Its likely some players will have been allowed to train knowing full well they are on the move, but this could be harmful if they are allowed to stay around too long.

CH has a massive job,one i think he is capable of but he needs ALL the help he can get.

Man city have today told all players that won't be in the 25 man squad or who don't have a future to stay away from the training ground, so they don't bring morale down.

Should we take this stance with the lads who will be leaving???????

not sure how many that would leave us with...

Im guessing Ch will discuss with each player and will do what is right for the club and the players that will be staying.besides which in close contact games it would be a tragedy if an injury prevents the sale of the likely leavers..

Andy Walker put on Twitter ealrier that Zigic was there as he could see him doing laps from where he was.

Perhaps he trained alone?

Seeing Dann and Johnson training together makes me wish they'd both stay and fight for Blues promotion.

Sadly, both of them will prob be gone before too long.

I could see Zigic walk into training from my bathroom in my house down the road.

Also, Jerome put my downstairs window through and got Fahey to climb over my fence to retrieve it.

If it happens again ill be popping the ball.

Seemed like a successful training sesh though! *drumroll*

I'm impressed that many turned up.

Apparently an un-named trio of players were just at Wast Hilla to hand in transfer requests but turned up at the same time as CH and felt compelled to join in

Zigic is still only half fit according to Andy Walker, so was being assessed separately to the rest.

If you look at the group photo where CH looks a midget, Doyle is opposite Jerome and just behind CH, Butland is to the left of Doyle with a gap between them, then Foster is right next to Butland, you can only just about see the latter two's heads.

Ye I can make out Foster. Him and Doyle look like they're hanging, must have been a good sesh.

MASSIVE credit to CH, doing sessions with people who dont want to be there, actually the same people who RELEGATED Blues.

A guilty handful of have escaped (inc the ex manager), so now POWER to CH Blues best footballing coach for years!
