My fave player is Trevor Francis. Breathtaking at times.

Ny fave set of forwards will always be:
Francis
Latchford
and Hatton.

In the early 70s I remember Brian Clough saying on a TV football panel that these 3 were the best strike force in the land. Of course we shipped a few goals in at that time but for me that team 1970 - 1975 was the best we have had.

It's all relative I know with the likes of Forsell, Dugarry and Jerome (only kidding) but to me TF & co were better all round exciting players. Also not forgetting the great job Kenny Burns did when he converted to centre forward for a while after Latch went to the toffees.

Fantasydosy??? c`mon mate jimmy krankies catch phrase...keep up!
Anyway now I`m back on
Heres another name check
Bob Hatton!! be worth millions today scored a MASSIVE amount of goals during his career. WE got him from carlisle as he scored two crackers against us early in our promo season 72!

Also he got important goals just like the horse! one to keep us up V Norwich, one at Oxford on good friday 72 to keep us in the promo pack! and his winner V Middlesborough in the 75 Q/F.
That idiot Willie Bell (worst manager ever???) sold him to Blackpool where he promptly got either three or four hat tricks that season.
Sti;l lives local and attends Stans, and, again a perfect Gent!

Hmm, a toughy with so many to choose from. My First match was in 95 and I have great memories of Otto but Claridge's socks round his ankles has rose tinted moments for me. Though RoJo is my current fave he prob won't be here too much longer. At least with Steve you KNEW he was moving on after a season or two so would not be that disappointed!!

I'm sorry, I can't pick just one! So, it's another list that will no doubt look very similar to others!

My top five, in no particular order:

1) Michael 'Magic' Johnson
2) Mikael Forssell
3) Martin Grainger
4) Nico Vaesen
5) Stan Lazaridis

TF for me by a long way

His four goals in a game against Bolton, is one of those that games that will stick in my memory for ever

I still believe to this day that Blues saw the best of TF

In his later years with other clubs he was often troubled with niggly injuries, a by product of all those times when he was kicked up in the air while he was at St Andrews......by those who could catch him of course

Unbelievable pace and that 'shimmy' of the body was world class.....He could shoot with both feet and also scored quite a few with headers .....as close to the complete footballer you will ever see

Francis, Latchford, Hatton (a great forward line in a great time for Blues)

Greenhoff, Pickering, Bridges ( a great three in my first years as a bluenose, although I am not sure if they ever played together)

Dugarry ( truly magical and a world cup winner)

.....and I just cannot leave out Kenny Burns

Lowds I would hazard a guess and say those three didnt play together.
Bridges left suddenly think his in laws were ill and he wanted to move closer to them in Eastbourne.
JG joined early the following season he was brill but only here for a short while again story was someone was shaggin someone else Mrs! (alledgedly)
Mighty Quinn left us and went to |Blackpool where he had a magical season and got them back in the Top div!!

Great Memories!!!!
