This looks so cheap for a piece of Birmingham history, wonder if the club had an idea it was for sale.

It was only the Anglo Italian Cup though....and a game we lost......I'm sure many collectors would chase memorabilia a bit more higher profile

I remember the League Cup winners in the 60's and 70's......the players used to get awarded a silver tankard

I bet most the Blues players who had one presented in 1963 still have them or are kept in the family heirlooms

They would be worth a few bob

Makes me think actually, imagine how much a World Cup Final winners medal would be worth

Players like Gordon Banks, Sir Bobby Charlton, Jack Charlton, Martin Peters and Sir Geoff Hurst are still around today

I see Bob quiet often as he lives near me. Lovely bloke, always chats about the Blues. Had many clubs, but Blues are closest to his heart. He never mentioned that medal though

A World Cup medal and a European Cup medal won by Nobby Stiles have been bought for more than £200,000 by Manchester United.

And a very underrated striker. He was always calm in those situations where the striker has a few seconds to think about what he is going to do. Him, Latchford and Francis were as good as any front line in the country.... The trouble was, the same could not be said of the defence!

Well it's machine engraved so metal probably not soft enough to hand engrave ! chances of it being gold - very slender !
