Hi Lads, Think the last time i was on here was when i was telling you how good Roger Johnson was when he signed for you. I dont think he let me down and has been outstanding for you. The reason i am posting today is for some info on Jordan Mutch. Cardiff are being heavily linked to signing this guy. Whats he like ? I hear hes a box to box midfielder who did well on loan at Watford. But he seems to be 1 of your lower earning good youngsters and 1 which i thought you may have kept. Is there much chance of you keeping our ex players Roger J and Cameron Jerome or are you resigned to losing both ? Good luck in the new season (except when you play us tho) |

well i think we will keep mutch he is a good box to box midfielder and did well for watford as you have said, when he playeed for us he didnt look out of place and could become a key player for us if he stays. in my opinion johnson will go and dann will stay and i think jerome will stay too. good luck to you too |

He's brilliant, he can play attacking or defensive midfield but I wouldn't hold your breath for him signing for Cardiff :) He could be key for us next season. I expect either RJ or Dann to go and we keep the other, Jerome is 50/50 for me. |

Sorry, but it's extremely unlikely you'll sign Mutch. He signed a new 3 year contract in February and will most likely feature heavily in our side this season. |

He's potentially a very good player and to echo the comments from my esteemed posters - he's not signing for Cardiff. |

Not a chance we'll let Mutch go. Simple as that. He could be a star. |

Still says it when I click on it . It can't be true. There's no way we would let him go surely! We need every player we can get at the moment and he's one of our brightest prospects! |

Are you lot seriously taking Wikipedia as a credible source?? You know any of us could go on there and change Messi to being our all time leading goalscorer. |

There's about as much chance that Alex McLeish will resign from Villa tomorrow and re-join Blues, as there is that Jordon Mutch will leave for Cardiff. Jordon will play a large part in our Championship winning side next season. He's good enough - and, now we've got Hughton and his positive philosophy rather than the Ginger Judas - he's definitely old enough. |

With Hughton' influence I think Mutch and Ferguson (providing he stays) could be a brilliant CM partnership, they could be assisting goals all day long. |

Totally agree Jake! Though we don't know how good Gomis is yet! Also, Fahey's best position is centre mid - so we could have four 'internationals' competing for our two central midfield slots. Ferguson = Scotland. Fahey = Ireland. Gomis = Senegal. Mutch = England U21. I tell you, we've got a good side shaping up, even if a few do leave. |

I think the cardiff fan is getting his jm players mixed up. Cardiff are signing Joe mason from plymouth not Jordan mutch. And I agree with others that it could be a big year for Jordan and I expect to see him get quite a few games for us this season. |

Ah in hindsight my post does make me look a tad gullible  . I wasn't so much thinking that Wikipedia is a credible source (I know it can be edited by anyone) but I was more worrying about where the source of these rumours has come from. Any way you look at it Jordon Mutch to Cardiff is a bit of an obscure transfer rumour. So I guess there must be some interest from their side of things. But no I can't see him leaving. Or at least I hope not! Would really worry me about what kind of situation we are in if he did. |
