Have seen him occasionally before but now has his own series (Watch Sky 109 Thurs 9pm). Fantastic "illusionist". Absolutely brilliant.

anything can be made to look good on telly. it's all about camera angles, editing and staged stunts.

while i'm sure his tricks are good, the vast majority are staged with actors, same as derren brown and david blaine.

Even so, still fascinating to watch and think how did they do that..... except when it comes to Blaine sitting in a box for go-knows-how-long..... yawnnn

Some maybe staged and obviously there's a "trick" behind them, but makes good viewing (imo) nonetheless. To walk part way across the Thames, in full view of the public was a brilliant "stunt". I thought only TF could do that.

Every so often a "new" street magician comes along with tricks that eclipse the previous best. It's Dynamo's turn now.

You'll be telling me next that the new Deathly Hallows film isn't a real documentary about that Harry Potter chap.

Yeah I saw it, absolutlely quality!

He was on Soccer AM a while back (maybe a couple of years ago) and was class on that aswell.

Obviously it isn't real - but just look at the reactions of everyone watching him performing his tricks to see how well he must be doing it live.

The one where the card appeared on the outside of the train window is really quite simple but very effective. I have assisted my friend in performing this trick over the years. The victim picks his card and it is returned to the deck. The magician through skill moves the card to the bottom of the pack by cutting etc. He then moves it from the pack and unseen places it in his hand behind his back. His assistant then exits the train and takes the card as he passes the magician. he then licks the card and sticks it to the outside of the window. HEY PRESTO.

Just for the record, Derren Brown uses no 'stooges' or actors in most of the stuff he does. He does in the big 'set-piece' shows (the airplane one for example) but he clearly defines to the audience when those actors are used and when they're not.
