Losing ferguson would be a big blow, he would be the experienced player in the centre that we need to help the likes of Jordan Mutch (If he does get to start)
I agree with a poster on this thread, that under AM he was not allowed to play his favoured style.

After all the problems we had heard about him before he came here, he as been a model pro, and done us proud.

I can only thing that if CH feels he can let him go, is that he as a replacement in mind already.

Will be sorry to see Barry go, but if he does best of luck to him, and will always remember him slapping that Arsenal player on the head after Martins scored the winner at Wembley

So you approve of common assault then?

What on earth are you on about.
If you are on about the slap he gave the Arsenal player, then was the player seriously hurt? I have seem mothers in the past slap a child harder.
As I said he had his problems before coming here, but while here playing for us he as been a model pro.

Seems you have to know all and everything about the Blues at present.

Time for an holiday and a long rest for you curly, the stress it getting to you

Ferguson's actions after the goal were graceless and unnecessary is all. If people want to refer them as 'quality' and 'legendary' then that's their shout but I don't buy it.

"Oh great goal Martins, fantastic, it means so much for the club, I am so so happy."

"Wait! What? Ferguson! How dare you. Thats it, im leaving Wembley, you are a disgrace, we may aswell have lost the game"

So you've dropped the common assult then on him? as the time he did slap him it was due to the excitemnt of winning the cup, now if he had lent down and teased him then yes would have been wrong but it was more like a tap on the head to conslle him in a way, but was a bit to exessive.

Do you like anything about the blues?
Seems you hate most of the players, the board, fellow supporters.

Ferguson did a great job here, a great influence in midfield

 I might have known!

Ferguson assaulted that Arsenal lad did he? GET A GRIP MAN! Trust me if Fergie had assaulted him the lad would have known all about it!

I'm sure you'll be sad to see Fergie leave, if he does. Who will be your target for the coming season? Chris Burke perhaps?

:LMAO: It certainly was a wee tap Andy & no malice was meant by it either.

Btw it's a Glasgow Kiss! Ever had one? Keep incorrectly referring to me as Brenda and you'll soon know what one is like!

Common assault, wee tap it was graceless and unnecessary. And to answer the question yes there are many things I like about Birmingham but Barry Ferguson doesn't immediately spring to mind when I contemplate some of the good stuff I've seen at St Andrews.

Have you ever done something unnecessary?
And has all the people around you hated you for it forever?

Those who have never made a mistake have never lived.

As said who is your next target of hate down the Blues

Yeah, sure I've done plenty that was unnecessary - and worse! The difference is I wouldn't expect to be called a 'legend' for my wrong doing. What Ferguson did at Wembley was small beer but it wasn't to be applauded in my view. Incidentally I don't hate Ferguson, I just think he is a very over rated footballer. Hate, on this board, is reserved for those who do incredibly evil stuff like putting up banners it would seem.

No one I think as called him a legend, all I said was he gave us great service.

So then you agree your call of common assult was over the top then.

If you'd like to check back somebody did indeed describe Ferguson as a legend BECAUSE of his tap or slap whichever way you want to see it. In fact this subject sprang up a while back and there were many who thought what a highly humourous jape it all was on our Bazza's part- it's just that I didn't.

And legally a case could be made for common assault: you don't have to cause brain damage in all instances you know but I guess the Arsenal player concerned rightly thought it too trivial to pursue throught the courts.

Skysports understands again, but if true, we shall still have Mutch, Gomis, Michel (hopefully) and Fahey, all of whom I think can handle it at championship level.#9although Gomis is kind of unknown)

I hope we can convince Michel to stay on.

Shame as he is a good player! But looks like it suits all parties! We need money, Blackpool need players, and baz wants to be closer to Scotland!

this is getting ridiculous even Blackpool are picking the flesh off Blues now. Can't wait for Walsall to start grabbing players.

As for Blackpool being closer to where his family are, complete BS,.Fly from BHX and 45 minutes later your at Glasgow. That's quicker than driving or catching the train to London.

Zero assists last season, only equalled by the great late Gardner. Ably assisted by McBoring, but still zero assists.
Way to go!
Oh, and the season before, no assists.
2 million passes, but no assists.
2 million passes but only 10 forward.
Lets move him on and attack.

Good player but at 33 years old, a year left on his contract and no doubt on decent money. A fee and the wage bill reduced no doubt attarctive to the club. I would not be surprised to see a Premier club comes in for him yet.

Let your heart beat strong and all that.

Would like to see him stay but if selling him will help us to keep Foster, Dann and Beausejour I will not be too upset. I know we have a lot of centre mids but none of them have that much experience playing there for us, could be a risk putting two players together who have never played with each other before. Would rather have a player of his experience giving help to the midfielders.

You are so NOT funny! :ph43r:

The nearer Scotland Baz is the better but I'd rather him stay at Blues than go to another championship team.
