Yeah I'm bored of it a bit now - wasnt really a surprise.

Although now they reckon the NOTW could be leaking this so that those who have been up to no good have got enough time to delete the evidence :break:

I've since realised that the 'Milly' referred to was in fact Amanda Dowler who was murdered nearly 10 years ago. I haven't heard anything about the case since as I don't watch much tv and I don't read newspapers. Am I supposed to remember every name that hits the media? I've got far better things to do with what little is left of my life than keeping up with tittle-tattle over the garden fence.

:LMAO:

Obviously, because your Tories are up to their noses in the pigmuck.

Quote:

DAVID Cameron is mistaken if he hopes a judge-led inquiry will defuse the News of the World phone hacking scandal and related allegations that precipitated the arrest of Andy Coulson, the Prime Minister’s former communications secretary.

Quote:

Trailing in the opinion polls, Cameron is being forced to defend his 2007 decision to hire Coulson just as labor unions threaten to derail his austerity agenda with a wave of strikes. The prime minister also faced questions today about his ties to James Murdoch, deputy chief operating officer of News Corp. (NWSA), and his father, Rupert, whose newspapers have shaped the British media landscape for four decades.

“It’s a Cameron issue. This is now about him,” Steven Fielding, director of the Centre for British Politics at Nottingham University, said in an interview. “The danger is that if this comes to define him in the public mind. Then it becomes the characteristic through which everything he does is viewed.”

No wonder you are bored my friend. :LMAO:

I've never seen chickens coming home to roost so quickly in my entire life.

For someone who regularly posted bile and spite about Blair employees and spin,
SUDDENLY
you are "bored", because now the boot is on the other foot.

But still, I look forward to your defence of Cameron in the ensuing months of his collapsing regime. Other than that you are bored .....

Just for you Lowds - bet that accelerates your heartbeat

Perhaps if you did pick up the paper or watched the news once in a while, you would be so woefully underinformed about the world, nor would you describe the act of removing voicemail messages from a dead girls phone as "tittle-tattle"

The current events surrounding how the media works is a history making moment, and will alter the manner in which news is collected and reported, and also the relationship between media and politics for generations to come, but still, don't worry about that Britain, here's a picture of a pretty girl with big boobs, those of you with five minute attention spans can concentrate on that.

 at this thread. Again, full on entertainment, and better than anything on the telly.

I for one, will NEVER EVER get bored of this story. I'm loving watch all the squirming, sliming and wriggling going on, by those who thought all this was never going to happen.

And as the Hod put it, this is a momentous moment in our history. The Mafia Don who has been running this country behind the scenes without paying any tax, has finally been outed.

I don't consider myself left or right, but someone who believes that the system and politicians should be wanting and working what's best for us, the British people - not some lowlife, greed-obsessed, power-hungry gangster.

So yeah, keep it going please - because as soon as it quietens down, the more risk the enemy will slime his way back in.

I'm sorry, but if you think this will change anything about how the media operate, or how a few people have a stranglehold of the entire Western media, then I think you are wrong.

Remember that the big 6 media companies own virtually the entire world media - they are:

AOL Time Warner
The Walt Disney Co
Bertelsmann AG
Viacom
News Corporation
Vivendi Universal

Rivals may be sticking the knife into News Corporation whilst they can, but the power of the media is concentrated into a very small amount of people.

News Corporation may have dropped their bid for full control - but 39% is still a significant enough ownership of BSkyB to excert a strong influence.

Not saying I'm proud of being anything, Hod. I twigged a long time ago what the media is all about. You are only given information that a very few people who control the media circus want you to hear and the whole purpose is to line their own pockets at your expense. One day you will wake up to who actually runs all the media and entertainment industries and realise it's all a big con.

There are thousand of murders every year, most of which get a cursory report or you don't hear about them at all simply because they are not newsworthy .... and, to be honest, I couldn't care less unless it impinges on my life or kinfolk. The fact that you are hungry for the daily gossip does not make you any less ignorant than me, maybe even more so. When have you been able to help in the outcome of a murder inquiry due to your knowledge of the case? What kind of perverted thrill do you get out of reading such macabre stuff?

BTW....I used to supply some of those pretty young models to Beverley Goodway at the Sun newspaper during the 70's and 80's. ;)

Here's my most famous one..I had to search for a suitable pic for this forum.

I fairness, I always find it sad if I read of murders or whatever (not to the extent of losing sleep or anything like that) as I wouldn't like to be in those situations myself. Sometimes, many victims can be in the wrong place at the wrong time, and that could happen to any of us.

BUT what really winds me up is when you hear of the lack of justice for whatever poxy reason. It's those instances then, where I feel that the politicans and authorities don't care what happens to us on the ground level. They're usually more concerned with self-image. Really trying hard not to say talk the talk whatever, but you get my point...

I'm bored with it all now.

:LMAO:

Obviously.

Now, even the Daily Telegraph are getting worried about your hero Cameron.

Quote:

The scale of private links between David Cameron and News International was exposed for the first time last night, with the Prime Minister shown to have met Rupert Murdoch's executives on no fewer than 26 occasions in just over a year since he entered Downing Street.

Rebekah Brooks, who was forced to resign yesterday as chief executive of Mr Murdoch's Wapping titles over the escalating phone-hacking scandal, is the only person Mr Cameron has invited twice to Chequers, a privilege not extended even to the most senior members of his Cabinet.

The Telegraph I think are going into a real John Major-mode regarding your hero.

I began getting the Telegraph in the 90s for the first fantasy footie, and realised ( or thought) that they were as objective as you could get about a Tory Administration. Years later I realised that they were anti- Major's feeble attempts to make changes in the Party- like letting their loyalists know that slavery was abolished. :D Mafeking had been relieved and Cromwell was dead.

Don't matter.

You proffess to be bored - which I obviously don't believe for one second.

You are worried my friend.

Especially now that the FBI are getting involved about 9/11 hacking in the USA by Murdoch papers.
This could be the most catastrophic business collapse in 100 years.

How many billions has News Corp lost in 2 weeks?

What happens to SKY if they destruct? What happens to the Premier?

Will you have to speak to your wife? Not having Sky?? Will you recognise her ?

We should be told my friend :D

Bored?

:LMAO:

Shitenhauzen!

Scared more like **thumbup
