It seems that he has. According to the back of today's Evening Mail, Michael Wiseman has resigned and will be replaced by Ryan Yeung as a director. Very sad to see the end of the relationship with the Wiseman family who have served Blues so well.

The Mail are quoting his age as 18 - but I'd been told he's 17. Maybe he's only JUST 18.

Very, very concerning news.

The Wisemans are all accountants and massive Bluenoses, so for him to resign, I fear there must be something very wrong with Birmingham City Football Club.

I wasn't that worried up until now, but this news has got me concerned.

mmmm neither do I.

.........and to be replaced by the 18yr old son of Carson Yeung. At least his nickname could have been Gil or Trevor, but it's Ryan and I dare bet named after Ryan Giggs. Rememeber they don't adopt a christian name nickname until they enter business and start having contacts withe westerners. Ryan, blimey.

I fear the same. The Wiseman link has remained through other lean times. This must've been a decision taken with a heavy heart. Sticking a child in to replace him seems to add insult to injury. Better not to replace him at all than this (no direspect to the lad).

This.

Just read something somewhere else where it was said we will hear of 4 sackings today could wiseman be part of the said sackings?

It has also been suggested that we forced out bf he apparently didn't want to go and the same is happening to foster.

Very worrying indeed.

Sponsors are running scared and don't want to be associated with carson yeung and hsbc are calling in the £9 mil loan. If all are true we can expect to be in administration before long.

how can a football club go from such a high fimishing 9th in the prem then winning a trophy whilst beating our bitter rivals on the way the following season to such a low with people talking about admin :( i personally think that if we can keep the squad as it is with a few additions then well be ok weve got a good manager who knows what hes doing!

Well, if he has been sacked, then that is a disgraceful decision by the board.

I don't have a bad word to say about Mike Wiseman. He's a massive Bluenose and a lovely guy with intelligent ideas. He was the last man left running our club that I could say I had 100% faith in to make the right decisions in the best interests of the fans.

This is why I have resisted with the bashing of pannu for instance because from where I am standing he is selling cheaply to avoid blues going into administration.

I fully support that stance however as fans we would like to be kept in the loop and the silence from the board is only going to manifest into something far more ugly and that will not help anyone least of all the manager and players.

I really really hope that players like Foster and Dann aren't forced out of the club.

CY has truely screwed things up IMO - I wouldn't blame sponsors not wanting to be associated with him as I feel the same way. I just want him to leave and take his dirty money with him.

Michael Wiseman was in Cork the weekend, i never spoke to him personally, but a few noses i know did speak to him and they said that he was quoted as

" He was very concerned indeed about the situation at the club and that he was very very worried for the short term future of the club"

As i said i was out there but didnt speak to him personally.
