"Sources close to Kilgallon" are suggesting we're interested in him after Hughtons long standings admiration of the player.

Gone off the boil a little since his move to Sunderland but I think he's got real ability when on his game. The right kind of age, English, something to prove, Championship experience, and should cost under £1m you'd hope.

I think he's the kind of player we should be looking at, and has the ability to be worth far more than the price we pay for him in a few years time. Can also fill in at LB when necessary which is a bonus.

Davies and Kilgallon for me would be a solid partnership, with Caldwell coming in if either of them went through a sticky patch.

Where are we gonna find a million pound from? Thin you'll find that CH won't be given any money until yeungs court case is over, and if he gets sent down there's the possibility we could go into administration so I can't see any players coming in till after 11th August at the very earliest unless we don't have to pay a transfer fee.

Sunderland could off-load him as a loan.

I think he is very good.

Wasn't all he was hyped up to be before he went to Sunderland and has gone backwards since then..

I'd rather have Davies, Ridgewell, Caldwell and of course Dann if we manage to keep him...

Kilgallon would be a very good adition... I'd be quite confident if Blues centre half options for next season were Davies, Caldwell, Kilgallon, and Kerr/someone like Ben Turner.

Good player worth the punt!

I'd also take Anton Ferdinand from Sunderland
