15 league goals in each of the last 2 seasons at this level, this would be a good move for the player and for Blues.

Funny how one daily mail article has us that badly in debt that we are about to loan out our goalkeeper for peanuts, whereas the other has us looking at spending cash on a player!

I was thinking exactly the same ... we have to loan out one of the best keepers in the country for £1m to get him off the wage bill, but we can afford £3.25m pounds for a decent Championship striker??

No chance.

I really can't see us spending more than £1m on players this summer.

...or possibly make-weight players from deals like Jerome. Are Stoke off loading anyone decent?

Or maybe, just maybe the rumours of our financial difficulties are off the mark?

We need to get back into the Premier league and need goals to get us there. That is going to cost us some money. Sharp for £3.25m would be good business if he could get us 15 goals this season. King is capable of about the same. Two strikers scoring 30 goals between them would not go amiss and should see us in the top six. There are still players to go for decent fees and a little of that money may be made available for the new manager to spend.

Positive I know but possible.

Let your heart beat strong and all that.

The story about Billy Sharp Is also In the Birmingham Mail now aswell, so there's got to be something In It.

Says that he want's to go to a Prem team though but aparently Blues are one of the only clubs In the Championship that he would move to as we have been In the Prem recently.

Would be a great signing Imo!

To be fair I think Tatts must be on holiday ... I think the current Birmingham Mail stories are just taken from elsewhere on the internet.

Yeah it is not Tatts writing these stories, it is another fella who is just rewriting stories he found elsewhere like this story and the Kilgallon story. Not sure if there is actual truth in either.

Exactly.

Contradictions everywhere.

In the Mirror yesterday, it had us down for selling Dann and Jerome to Stoke for £16m combined (which we havent even agreed).. and said Dann's wages were holding up the deal.

2 articles below it, was 'Stoke target Crouch' containing a line saying "Cameron Jerome has snubbed Stoke, along with Carlton Cole, meaning Crouch is on the radar" or words to that effect.

They just throw a million things at a wall, and occassionally some stick, and they "get an exclusive"

100 Championship goals in 213 games

Can't see Doncaster letting him go on the cheap and unless i've missed something we are only getting in freebies, his fee must be around 3-4 million

Billy Sharps Circus just about sums us up at the moment but I reckon he would do a job for us but not sure at the asking price that I have seen quoted (3.5 mil).

I think he's just the sort of player we need to score the goals to get us out of this division.

I hope we get him. He would be a good signing.

Perhaps the cash transfer from new investors has arrived?
Seems too good to be true, but everything will come out in the wash.
Ooooooooopppppssss, no pun intended.

If you watch him he plays like Robbie Keane. Ive always rated this kid and if we could get £3million together it would be a very fair price. I pray this happens. KRO!!!
