Hi Admin / Mods

It is obvious that the single biggest reason why we get same-subject threads is the lack of clarity in the titles.

A classic example is a thread titled "A New Twist" ...sub-title "begging bowls required". Any ideas what that is about? Well neither had the member who has started a thread "Foster On Loan"......and now we have a duplication.

Is there any way admin/mods can amend thread titles - just so we can get clarity, easy of browsing AND thread duplication reduction.

Thats been sorted now and all posts are now in transfer talk

It would be helpful if people took a few mins to read the titles of threads before starting new ones on the same subject.

Incidently thats now 4 threads all saying the same thing merged into one.

..but that's my point. So many thread titles are so ambiguous it's impossible to know what the subject matter is, like the example I gave. "A New Twist" subtitle "Begging Bowls Required". It turns out that thread was about Ben Foster, hence a another Ben Foster thread being created because the new creator would not know it is being covered in the New Twist thread.

All I can think to do is for mods to amend ambiguous titles.
