Worried that the new season is only around the corner. Other teams Leicester, West Ham etc strengthening we are shedding players and dont look like we are looking to bring any one in. have we seen the last of our transfers in? I honestly dont think we will spend any money on transfers and not sure we have the capacity to add anything to the wage bill really worried we could struggle next year :ph43r:

I think we'll see another 6 or so players come in. Probably be late August though when we either sell Dann/Foster and use a bit of that money or bring in a load of young loan players in on low wages.

Going to be an interesting season and a big test of Chris Hughton's managerial and coaching skills. But at least we'll see us going out to try and win games

With Zigic, Jerome & King all out injured CH is already experiencing the sort of luck many other Birmingham managers have had to deal with over the years. I wish him well.

I don't think we'll see anywhere near 6 new players coming in.

We'll probably sign a centre forward to replace either Jerome/Zigic and then we'll only really need a loan signing or two to thicken out the squad.

Can see another 3 or 4 joining with only one of them being a permanent transfer and the rest being loan signings.

it's not the Leicester and West Ham end of the table we should be comparing ourselves with. Hughton will have performed a miracle if he can get a mid table finish.
There is no way we are in a position to compete for promotion. Remaining solvent is the key thing, and if we are selling Foster at a loss, it would indicate that we are now desperate for cash.
We only have Dann and Foster left who should be able to generate a profit, if we can't even manage that, we are at the end of the line.

I disagree, despite the players that have left and probably will leave with the likes of Beausejour, King, Davies, Carr, Fahey, Burke we still have a team capable of promotion and also we seem to have a very positive, forward thinking management team also...

I actually think the off the field problems will spur the players on also...
