Have any offers been made for either player. No none have been made. So until offers have been made we should not be panicking.

Mid Table will do me... build for the future and push on for promotion in 2-3 years.

if we went up this season we would be straight back down worse than Derby a few years ago! IMO

i have trust and faith in CH :ball:

I'm not expecting promotion, unless of course out of the blue or young players have the season of their life.

With Foster departing us shortly on loan to West Brom, and no doubt the others soon to follow. It is looking a little thread bare.

I think Chris H should just play a kids team in all of the cups and europe, and just keep the main batch of players for the league. I think a mid table position is the best we can hope for this year.

Talks do not mean an offer, when they actually table a bid then maybe we can start to worry about not having Foster next season. Tatts said any deal for Foster is a long way from being done.

We can't afford to keep them full stop. Come end of August Blues will take what they can for any of the high wage earners still left to sell. It doesn't matter whether offers are being made now or not, Blues will have to sell whatever the price by the end of the transfer window and I think other clubs know this.

Unless a player is injured from now till end of transfer window and can't be sold, I think Blues will have sell or loan any players who have any value or earns more than £20000 a week ie in the case of Dann whether it be 10 million today or plummets to 5 million come August 31st we just can't afford them

I know these 2 could end up anywhere but for arguments sake Take Ridgewell and Foster Albion interested in both,

So far two scenarios have appeared for Albion

Pay the asking fee at beginning of transfer window, Blues initially reported looking for around 9 million for both players at start of window.

Pay 1 million loan and 4 million at end of season for Foster and get Ridgewell for about 2 million so far down to 7 million in middle of July

Come end of August if Albion can play waiting game how much then? I think we will be lucky to get 4-5 million for both because they know we just can't afford to keep them. Big savings to be made in a short space of time.

I am sure Albion would love to have all there players signed by the start of the season but waiting another 2 weeks till the end of the transfer window, if they can take the gamble no one else will come in for those players and to get 2 good players that will fit into your squad quiet easily whether it be July 22nd or August 31st and getting a 4 million saving for a club like Albion, it would be a no brainer

and me. I am expecting smiling faces, good banter, happy to be at St Andrews and no boring football.

I expected to lose the Big5. I will be shocked at the Foster loan if it happens though. But all in all it looks a new start, with a positve manager.

Love the optimism really do

If CH can get the attack right, and keep rednond and beau ,ridge and carr then maybe we'll do ok .... I actually thought our midfield was starting to become jaded towards the end of last season and was in desperate need of youth and pace

Anyway we'll see
