...Yeung comes in and invests heavily...
I must of missed that...
Well at least 35m in a short space of time is more than any others IMO.
£35m? On who?
Info here, plus you have to factor in the highly expensive loans of Hleb etc... http://www.transferleague.co.uk/premiershi...-transfers.html
Reading this it looks like the board kept to their promise of investing money into the team. Unfortunately they didn't coach or manage the team, that was left to someone else. :applause: And now we're at the crux of the problem. I'm so fed up of the board bashers.
I agree but they still going to critisize the board at every opportunity. Reading some of their comments their protest will be one big embarrassment to the club and its fans.

Less than thirty mill in the two years he has owned the club, don't forget the likes dann, ferguson, johnson came before the takeover... Considering we have now sold £14m which will probbly increase this does not make me think he's invested heavily now he's clawing it all back via his 17 year old son via some holding company in the far east! Wake up people ffs
Erm, the previous board were 2.5m up the previous season from selling players......and they spent only 150k the season before!
You are forgetting......Barry Ferguson: £1,000,000...Gardner: £3,000,000....Michel: £3,000,000 all brought by this board.
That's 26m, plus the still had to pick up the tab for Johnson, Dann etc as they were part payments and massive wages all round.
Throw in Hleb, Bentley, Martin's etc and its well over 35m. Most of this IMO would have been funded by Yeung himself.
You can't hide the facts, he did spend a lot and if you want to really delve deeper why we are in this mess....one word: Relegation.
As much as I'm unhappy the way things are going, I don't remember Yeung taking training seasons or playing up front last year.

Fair enough.. I'm not going to get into a transfer date discussion as I think you're saying that the £30m plus that AMC spent ultimately ended up in relegation.
I took too much umbridge at the 'invested heavily' comment. just my opinion that its not that heavy an investment over the majority of 5 transfer windows. The last board did the same and it ended'up with the same result.
I'm worried the club I love is currenty being sold down'the river. This is not a situation that can be compared to the gold/sullivan days. BIH isn't even domicile in this country and the bloke keeping that co. afloat is currently charged, albeit not convicted, of money laundering on a massive scale.. and now his 17 year old son has been appointed to the board!!
