I notice Villa are sponsored by the Malaysian company Genting Casinos and furthermore they are promoting themselves in Hong Kong being in a football tournament.

I thought we were the club with a strong foothold in the Far East? I can only think old Carson is nothing more than hairdresser when it comes to business clout and acumen over there.

this venture for CY was never more than game to him, bcfc being the plaything he chose. i didn't enjoy the last few years of the gold/sulli reign but i'd have them back in a heartbeat over the present incumbent

Made to look like laughing stocks again

How exactly?

Blues have played in Far East tournaments before, they bring very little in terms of exposure or interest.

Malaysia couldn't be any less important to the plans CY had, it is after all an entirely separate Country thousands of miles from the PR China.

Some of our fans need to get a grip. This board is pull of pathetic statements from people who appear completely clueless as to how the real world works.

We were Relegated. It happens. Get over it.

I think we were always going to struggle to get into the Barclays Premier League Asia Trophy this season, to be fair.

McLeish criticised the "PR" tour we did last year, and vetoed it for this year - wanting Austria agin, but settled for Cork.

Villa are not touring, they are in a one city based tournament - Two matches.
Along with Chelsea and Blackburn and a local side.

The Far East is a bit bigger than Hong Kong mate, and the sum total of all these matches in terms of attendance won't equal ONE match that Blues played in during their tour of CHINA - **thumbup

Different perspective isn't it, an no sneaky slag at anyone connected with Blues.

I think you're slipping into your old habits, of having to have at pop at something blue.

I'm instigating Lowdham Watch !

It's for your own good mate
