If your not convinced with Myhill wait till you see Doyle. There Is a reason Myhill was braught In, because Doyle just Isn't up to It. Saw him against Coventry last season In the FA Cup, he was abysmal, every ball that went anywhere near him he flapped at It. Would rather have Myhill In goal every day of the week! |

Why would you, you have not seen him play much before he came to us, what have you seen in his games for us that impress you so much? |

No. He said Myhill was brought in to play first team. He also said Doyle hasn't let us down when he has played. I cant believe we get threads like this after one game. If Boaz was to stray onto the forums, WTF is he going to think? I just dont get it. Tom Ross and Jonno said Myhill wasnt at fault for the loss today, i just really am perplexed at some of the people on this site. |

The caller said he should be playing, and TR simply said that he hasnt put a foot wrong when he has been playing. No reason for Myhill to be out the team, and he wont be. I just really am shocked at the people on here, i really really hope some of them dont log on here. |

If Doyle isn't going to be used when we need him and is permanently a number two then i wonder what the point of him being at the club is. I am one of seemingly few, that thought he was dealt a rough hand after he came into the team in the premier league and was thrown out fairly quickly. In the same breath i'm not going to judge Myhill on the apparent mistake that he made in pre season and the winning goal today. A season is a slog and some players find their form quicker than others. Manure fans said similar about Ben Foster before he came to us. |

I have a WBA supporter as a step dad so have seen him a fair bit actually. He was a very good keeper for Hull In the Championship and the Prem. He also had a few good games for baggies, Ok he may have dropped 1 or 2 clangers but so has basically every keeper. I've only ever seen Doyle play one good game, against Wolves a few years ago. He then played against Chelsea In the prem was at fault for all three goals and lost his confidence. There's a reason he has basically always been our 2nd/3rd choice GK. |

While Doyle has been at the club has has... Never been able to displace Hart, Foster or Taylor for a prolonged run. Never convinced Bruce, Mcleish, Hughton that he deserves to be no.1. These people work with him and train alongside him everyday. You think the penny would drop with a few of our fans that he just isn't that good. Loyal (or unambitious?) yes. And probably a nice chap. But not a no.1 for BCFC. |

Hart and Foster both struggled when they first arrived, don't hear to many people moaning now. Myhill will need working on for sure but he's got the best coach to help him. Most of it's about confidence, which I think he lack's at the moment. Give the bloke a chance. |

Foster was quite brilliant in his first few games for Blues but I agree Hart wasn't up to much in his early days. |

I read on a Wigan Website last week that we were after Kirkland. We should go and get him.I,ve just got back from the game and the Keeper was the only weak link. From where i was i thought he should have come for the cross for the first goal.As for the 2nd goal, even if it did take a deflection. It was close enough to him and hit from far enough out for him to at least get a hand on it.I also think he should have saved Everton's 2nd goal last week.Apart from that,i thought we were excellent today. After all the gloom of the last few weeks, things might not be as bad as some thought.Rooney needs some help though.Beausejour looked good. And there is a good partnership forming between Burke and Carr.My only criticism of CH is.If Scott Dann is fit, play him. |

Not sure whether he was at fault for the goals as I haven't seen replays, but the first impressions aren't good. For one, he doesn't seem like he moves very well. He looks clumsy and lumbersome, he lacks goalkeeping agility. And he's already lost the fans' backing. Sarcastic cheers whenever he caught the ball after the 2nd goal, and a whole load of Blues fans yelling all kinds of things at him as he walked back toward the goal. His confidence will have taken a knock today, just hope he can recover. |

Love Doyle and would have hoped that once Foster was loaned out he'd have had the first opportunity in goal. Boaz or no Boaz. The Championship season of 06/07 he featured in 22 matches, conceded 18, kept 8 clean-sheets, and made over 120 saves... He's proven to be very capable at this level. That said, now that Myhill has been given the number 1, and the chance, he should be given the time. Hart had some rough matches early on, and patience was rewarded. |

So your judging Doyle on one game? But I bet you will still defend Myhill after his very poor showing today (and even Vs Everton) Myhill is no better than Doyle, he couldnt even get past Scott Carson for gods sake. |

I remember watching hart early doors and thinking he's proper dodgy. Give Myhill a chance. This team really needs our full backing this season. |
