Anyone see it?

Right on the corner of the ground nearest to the away turnstiles, as i walked past a door a group of Derby fans burst through it chanting 'Yam yams' at all of the Blues fans leaving the ground.

Before i know it it's all going off, police also getting attacked and what not.
Not sure how far it escalated as i got away straight away, but saw a bit of trouble outside the train station when we were inside.

" yam yams"?? they need a geography lesson.

While living in Shropshire ( and getting ribbed for my brummigem style) I,ve learned to ask the locals "Why are brummies so thick" and the answer is always " so you lot can understand me"

I think they like me a little :LMAO:

Was still inside the stadium at the time, last ones out. But we saw about 20 stewards legging it thru the exit as if World War II had broken out.

Two lads were saying Yam Yam as I walked past them on the corner which was more towards the Derby end. They were heading towards the Blues turnstiles, and I thought if you carry that on someone will thump you. Sounds like they did.

I was just walking by the train station, some 'derby fan' came over and just punched me right on the chin - didn't expect this sort of stuff as before the game the fans seemed to mingle together really well!

Some 40 yr old challenged me to a fight as I walked down a backstreet before the game. And after the game there seemed to be quite a few pockets of trouble. There were definitely a few zulus there yesterday and I guess Derby had a few of their own firm in attendance, although 99% of them were completely chilled out.

It was a massive away attendance yesterday and there were a good few Blues fans riled up and looking for trouble, so I don't think you can compare to a regular game at Stans.

Judging by Hereford, Oxford, and Derby, our away following is going to be at its boistrous best this season, and there will also be an air of trouble now and then.

So I take it this is your first away game ...... if NOT you should be 'street wise' & look out for things like this if you have been going for a few years. There is going to be a lot of games like this , this season .... (away ..... Leicester, Millwall, Leeds, Coventry, Cardiff etc). I hope you gave him 'one back'. Zulus rule.
