Asset stripping board? The same board that spent 36 million over the previous 2 seasons but who have sold only 3 players so far since relegation???????
AND ? they have bled us dry, if you cant see this go to the opticians or the doctors
How? They`ve invested £36 million and sold 3 players for £12 million! That`s after being ripped off by the previous board with a stupid asking price. The only thing they are guilty of at the moment is being poor buisness men.
Well said Porky mate but you're wasting your time with the bigots on this forum !!!
It's all well and good investing someone elses money (i.e the bank) !!
And then keeping shut about it, hoping we'd stay in the PL and bring in enough money to pay the loan, wages etc
But what happens when we get relegated and don't have the income coming in?
What happens then....... Oh, hang on :silence:
Please don't tell me Pannu didn't know about this... You're the vice chairman and you're not at all in touch with the finances..... :banghead:

Oh, fair point lets do it again.....
PP should pop off to the bank, get yet another loan, have more outgoings we can't afford, and then when we don't get promoted release another 16 players and sell a few **thumbup
Sounds like a plan......

Agreed,
Although I think PP's no good for this club, the behaviour of some football fans (in general, not just bluenoses) is ridiculous.

Ken Wheldon was an asset stripper, the Kumars were asset strippers, Sullivan and Gold to a certain extent were by buying the club for peanuts and then selling it for £80 million! This board so far have invested money, obviously money that they didn`t have but they gambled and invested anyway. I don`t remember anyone saying oh please don`t buy Dann, Johnson, oh no not Foster please enough is enough! As I said in a previous post this board is only guilty so far of poor business investment!

well what does he expect after all thats gone on.. not saying it's right or wrong, just not suprised ,
They've turned our football club into a joke and a laughing stock..
The sooner Yeung, Pannu and the rest of them are out of this football club the better personally.
IMO the so called 'fans' that do this sort of thing make us just as much of a laughing stock as whatever Yeung/Pannu has done in the past. This sort of thing is deplorable and should not be condoned and/or tolorated by anyone associated with BCFC whether it fans/staff/management or the tea lady. Anyone that is identified from such an attack should be banned from St Andrews. IMO, this is nothing more than mob mentality trying to scare and terrorise a person, it doesn't matter who the victim is, Pannu/Yeung or Sepp Blatter, no one should be treated that way. It makes me feel sick that we have 'fans' that would do something like that. I can forgive those that want to protest as long as it is peaceful but vandalism and violence acted towards another person should be treated as the criminal offence that it is. In no way do I want the club I love to be associated with such thuggary.
Yes i understand what your saying... i was just saying that i'm not suprised it happend after what has happend to our club... They have put us in such a sorry state that we were left with no option but to loan our first choice goalkeeper out to one of our rivals just to keep us afloat..
It's no suprise to me that emotions are running high toward the current board whilst not condoning the attack on Pannu's car im just simply not suprised... and im sorry to say i don't think we've seen the last of it either.

McLeish dropped us in the ****. It was he who relegated us.
I blame Yeung/Pannu for giving him a contract last year.
Behave lowdham. Dad left because he like me seen it coming No matter who your manager is this season, you would still be in the cack Your leader is on bail for alleged money laundering so his assets would still be froze even in the prem. I said on Friday this is the first time i have never looked forward to the season start. You're deep in the mire. If you and others took your blinkers off re Big Eck( my dad) and used your energy to get rid of the asset stripping poor excuse of a board. they will have to go very soon or you will continue your downward spiral And its not worth contemplating were you could end up. I hope the blues reach the 50 points mark as soon as we can to enable you to stay up. But the longer Pannu and Yeung are here the worse it will get
I put the correct words in for you, that you forgot

No, it's the mindless neanderthals that bring our club into disrepute. Anyone like your good-self who supports this kind of action is as bad as they are!! Anyone who thinks they are proving how much they love Blues by behaving like a yob is a deluded idiot!!
so in which part of my post did i say that i supported this kind of action ?
I only said i wasn't suprised that it happend ..
Here... i've included a copy of what i originally posted so next time you decide to criticise somebody , make sure you read what they wrote properly first... **thumbup

Did this actually happen? anyone actually see it or was just 'told'. If Peter Pannu has fought with Triads, a bunch of angry Blues fans are hardly going to make him cak himself are they? If it was true, like

A very fair point completely lost in the hysteria. Yeung has invested and spent more than the previous owners who couldn't wait to run and cream money off as they went. and we won a trophy under Yeung with a £6m player scoring in the final

How? They`ve invested £36 million and sold 3 players for £12 million! That`s after being ripped off by the previous board with a stupid asking price. The only thing they are guilty of at the moment is being poor buisness men.

I never claimed it was a good idea, I'm just stating that the claim there was no investment is factually incorrect.
Third highest net spend on players in the Prem, there's a fact most people seem to like to ignore.

What assets have they hocked? We own our own ground, we own our own training ground. Remember Wheldon trying to sell one of our stands for scrap metal! Remember the Kumars selling our Elmdon training ground! What has this board hocked?

I saw blues fans surrounding/attacking a car outside Pride Park yesterday but didn't hang around long enough to see who was inside it. Was told later on that it was Pannu that had been in the car. Saw quite a bit of trouble yesterday. That doesn't bode well for our matches against more volatile opposition fans such as Leeds and Millwall. :( Mo x
its a real shame as well, I haven't seen any trouble when I have been to derby - prior to the game I mentioned how their stewards are usually very well organised, allow us to stand and sing and its usually a cracking atmosphere and day out
The stewards did indeed let everyone stand all thru the match. Fair play to them. And it WAS a great atmosphere and a cracking day out. Shoutout to lordnewtown who is on holiday and couldn't make it, he would have loved it.

Your post is a contradiction, THEY have invested money in the club, regardless of whether it belonged to them or not, they persued loans and put that money into BCFC. I never said it was their own money.
I know what situation we are in, perfectly well. We wouldn't be in anywhere near as much financial trouble if the ginger **** hadn't relegated us and we wouldn't have to be selling all of our players Another fact for you.

We wouldn't be in anywhere near as much financial trouble if the ginger **** hadn't relegated us and we wouldn't have to be selling all of our players Another fact for you.
He has got away with murder, and a pay rise to boot.

Pannu and Yeung never engaged McLeish in the first place and who wouldn't have extended his contract last year after a top league finish? Followed that with qtr final FA Cup and a league cup win.
Pity he let it all crumble to rat pooh!

What assets have they hocked? We own our own ground, we own our own training ground. Remember Wheldon trying to sell one of our stands for scrap metal! Remember the Kumars selling our Elmdon training ground! What has this board hocked?
Actually I read somewhere that HSBC Bank have a security interest in St Andrews through one of Carson Yeung's loans......that has to be a real concern
Ken Wheldon sold the Elmdon Training ground .....but in fairness, the club's predicament financially was a lot worse back in those days than it is right now.... The football club were minutes away from total closure.....Wheldon actually saved Birmingham City FC
The Kumars' personal leisure business 'Mark One' went belly up....that is why they were not around for long.....In 1993 Sullivan stepped in to buy Blues for peanuts.....sold the club for 80 million almost two years ago......he's the only winner from all this mess
