Bertie! spot on, with both relegations it was the players and management who sent us down. Neither the old or the new board were culpable!

p.s
Just put that word in to confuse the moranic numpties involved in both attacks!!

I'm no fan of McLeish but don't you think his sudden jumping ship had more to it? Like he knew the s**t was about to hit the fan?

I have been saying this for months be careful the anti Eck lot
will try to shoot you down.

They are so blinkered by their hatred for big Eck that the cant see the bigger picture.

Pannu and yeung out now

If you actually read what people say, it's the WAY he went about doing what he did. NOT that he did it.

this 6 million invested by the 31 year old from what ive heard is to get blues through this season ,the money is so blues can pay wages and bills over the next few months .which i have heard from buisness men on the radio talking about the investment and in 2 years if things turn round and he is happy with everything can come onto the board and have a 14%stake in the club, but what happens if he isnt and wants his money back,we cant find 6p never mind 6 million

No business man no matter how stupid would put £6m into a business if he thought it was going bust, I know I wouldnt,...Ever,...you have also said that you have heard that some bloke on the radio said that he can have his money back in 2 years ???,...what ??,....according to you we would be out of business before 2 years anyway ??

The big question for me is what made him go the way he did.

Its too easy to lay all the blame at his feet, its just too convenient what happened at the club to make him resign ??

Yes it was probably best for him and the club to part company but it still begs the question of what really happened.

The villa tapped him up and offered him more money and a way out whereby he wouldnt have to answer for another relegation. Took the easy route

Porky

Ken Wheldon kept this club going through its darkest days, Kumars were (like CY) just out of their depth. The Old board were just brilliant business people. Before them the Coombes family were big fans but couldnt run the business side.
I Know I posted this before but till Karen took up the reins the club hadnt made a profit in a 100 years!!!

I don't buy into this nonsense trying to blame the board for McLeish leaving. The board have failed, but lets be honest here. McLeish saw pound signs, an easier job, and managing in the Premiership. Plus already living in the area played a big part too.

McLeish had identified free transfer targets like Burke, Gomis, King which we then went and aquired. Unless that was done out of spite to waste our resources, then he had planned on preparing for this season under the current restraints.

He is a snake.

Well you didnt read my post, because you havent answered it... roflcopter.

Willie, I don't care what happened, he could have shown us the fans the dignity and respect we showed him by continuing to support him despite the fact he relegated us with his !"£$ tactics. 1 point from 6 in a relegation battle?!

Everyone is aware of the mess were in and there's an outside chance of administration. By the way I have an 'inside source' who says talk of administration is bloocks. All I'm saying is I will believe it when I see it.

And by leaving the way he did he completely ruined anything he ever achieved with us. Cannot stand the sight of the man for the lack of respect and lack of class he showed to our fans.

There Is leaving because the **** Is going to hit the fan and there Is leaving the McLeish way, basically walking out of St Andrews giving each and every member of staff and every fan (Including you BBN) the finger! To go and join our closest and biggest rivals!

I never, ever rated him as a manager and was over the moon when he left, but leaving the way he did was unforgivable, I just can't for the life of me see why any real Bluenose would defend him.

Wrong Eck never would give me or you the finger

I know this is fact,so don't go presuming what Eck will do

Not wrong In the slightest.

He relegated us (for a second time), didn't walk when he should have, right after the Spurs game. He then got backed by the board and told he still had a job, braught 3 players and then resigned by e-mail to go and manage our big rivals.

To me? Thats a big f*** you from McLeish.

I see what your saying but I dont see it being any thing other than him being tapped up.
The Eck lovers will be upset and blame the board without proof but are still not able to explain why

1. Pannu was signing his 4th player at the time.
2. He hoodwinked the LMA to support his claim of constructive dismisal, only to drop it once they sort legal advise and realised they had breached rules, leaving the LMA looking rather stupid for backing him.
3. CH takes the job and very happy too, despite our financial predicament, saying its a great football club and proud to be here.

To some it will all be CY & PP's fault, but for me Mcleish ran rather than except the criticism and put right his failings. Its his failings aswell as the boards as to why we are in this mess. He got a pay rise too which is even more ridiculous, lets just hope Judas kills the villa off in quick time, they deserve each other.

Big Eck seen this coming the board have bled us dry, we are in a dire state

Eck knew this so did the players and the got out when they could.
I for one don't blame anyone for seeking work elsewhere

Football like it or not is a business and the management and players did what anybody else in a failing company would do, seek employment where they can.
This has not just happened in May when we were relegated, they have systematically
bled us dry since the day they took over.

Hang on that's a completely different statement.

You said they've 'bled' us dry, that insinuating they've taken money from the club.

Also, to say they've put no money into the club is wrong, it's common knowledge CY has done just that, to pay the bills last year. Not saying it hasn't got to be paid back, but you get my point.

So clarify and back up your statement

im not the biggest fan of pannu as is know. To be honest, I would rather not have him at our club!

However, what happened (if indeed it did as we have not heard anything in the mail about it - unless im mistaken) is completley out of order and will solve nothing. like or lothe the board there are ways to do things and this is NOT the way!

Considering Carson remortgaged his own properties in order to help keep us afloat, its a safe bet to say that what you actually know about the finances at Blues could be written on the end of a gnats pube.
