Does anyone know if CY is pleading guilty or is he digging his heels in and trying to drag it out, that would in my opinion be the worst thing to do, admit your crime carson and serve your time, who knows when you come out we might just be back in the premier league and you just might get some money back unless of course you and your chinese benefactors sell up to get us out of this ever deepening whole.

On a separate issue if he is found guilty and somehow escapes a prison sentence will he have any money left, if that happens what will happen to us if at the end of the season he is still chairman and we incredibly gain promotion to the premier league (I can always dreasm) will they (premier league) allow us to take our place in the PL in line with the fair and proper policy for boards and chairman to adhere to.

well if he didnt do it wouldnt he plead not guilty. I thought that was what innocent people did! Im not sure that top of his worry list right now is how his plea might affect us--more likley thinking of his family -and of course whether he did or did not do what ever it is that he is alleged to have done.

I wouldn't be surprised if the charges are dropped before he even gets to court.

Love your optimism - let's hope the evidence goes missing.

The irony that you feel he has disgraced Birmingham City, but can't even spell it correctly, isn't lost on us.

This is a serious business, which seems to have escaped some folk!

China's human rights record is an international disgrace. I feel very sorry for anyone who is in trouble with their system. Innocent until proven guilty is not high on their agenda, and their prison system is definitely evil.

If CY is found guilty no one might here of him again. This is more important than a football club!

However, maybe by appointing his son to the Board might be the best thing he could have done for us.

Let's hope for a correct and just outcome of his trial, and that the Chinese authorities realise that some of the world outside their regime is watching!

As far as I can see, and please correct me if I am wrong, CY was a hairdresser. Not a hairdresser like Vidal sasoon or Nikki Clarke, but a non-celebrity run of the mill hairdresser. Now there is nothing wrong at all with hairdressers, mines a great guy, = its just very difficult indeed to make millions and millions of pounds cutting hair. Mine earns maybe £25k a year and works very long hours for that. From cutting hair CY would seem to have suddenly got into the off-shore casino business in Macau. In between cutting hair and starting up a Casino he seems to have done rather well in property development albeit with a few losses along the way. Clearly CY also has many "connections"...........

Now all of the above is probably completly legit and it may well be that all of that time cutting hair gave CY the hours he needed to think about developing multi-million dollar properties and opening up gambling dens.

On the other hand it may be as dodgy as hell. Since the property "bizness" and the casino industry are laden with cases of money laundering then some might have thoughts.........

I have no idea at all whats going to happen on August 11th but hope for the best outcome for our club - whatever that may be
