One thing which I was disappointed with from the Derby game was the suggestion we deserved more from the game than we got.

I think Hughton would have been far better coming out and laying down the gauntlet. The fact is Derby scored more goals and they got the win. Davies let fly and it went past Myhill who maybe should have saved it but if we shoot at goal maybe we will get more goals.

Burke certainly looked willing and the whole team were motivated it must be said but they have to have courage and they have to shoot or else the ball isnt going to go into the net.

Lets have no more excuses. We must create chances and take them. If we dont then we dont deserve to bloody win the game it's our own damn fault.

We did deserve more than we got from the game, what's wrong with saying that? Look at the stat's, it was brilliant style tactics too, lots of passing in their half. Hughton will know where we went wrong a rectify that for future games. No negativity needed in interviews for me.

I agree Tony, we didn't deserve anything more from the game because we didn't score as many goals as Derby.

However, I'm frustrated that we didn't win the game considering our dominance in possession and chance creation.

All Hughton said was that we deserved at least a point from the game. But you dont always get what you deserve. Hughton hasnt done anything wrong in saying this at all. He will know what needs sorting and im sure we can win Coventry on Saturday we just need to take our chances. Wood for me could do really well for us. Fingers crossed aye. KRO!!!!

its obvious our only major trouble is again scoring goals, we did have three strikers missing saturday, two may be leaving as long as they are replaced with half decent players we should be ok.

If you think" our only major trouble is again scoring goals "

Then you are sadly mistaken,we need at least one ball winning midfielder

at least 2 more defenders likewise upfront.

so we have a long way to go before we can at least compete in this league.

Your bang on with what your saying, but in Hughton's defence, even Clough said that Blues were very unlucky to lose the game. Still though I see what you mean :lager:

When was the last time we had 20 attempts at goal, 8 on target. On another day four or five of them chances will fly in. Derby reminded me of us recently, 3 or 4 attempts, luckily for them 2 went in.

The facts are that Blues had 3x the shots, 2x the shots on target, more corners, more possession, and were the better side. When considering these facts it's not a victims mentality at all to come to the conclusion that your side were unlucky not to win.

But yes, 1 of our 20 shots went in, and 2 of their 6 went in. So they won.

The better side or the one that seems most deserving on the run of play doesn't always win... Blues should've won, we didn't, and we're all moving onward.
