I just think when it came to the cup final tickets, after season ticket holders they should of done an incentive that if people brought season tickets they would be guaranteed a final ticket. I know some will say but the people that went games should of been ahead but why they stopped selling them before the final i dont know. We needed to of milked the cup final more.
Then with the europe home leg, no matter what it would sell out & should of been category A. Dont get me wrong im not being ungratefull & this is something Sully & co would never of done, but they also never got us in debt because of this.
Then i look at the players we have sold & also think blues have been too easy. Finals & europe do not come along often & i know 90% of blues fans would pay premium for that. These sorts of offers wont make the same fans come back when we play on a sunday at stupid o'clock.
I even feel stupid that im saying i should be paying more but i dont mean that, i just think the board have missed out on much needed thousands by their good gestures but then by selling our best players because of them will never get the credit they deserve.
I still love the fact we have flat screens & a nice bar under the Tilton to have a drink into which is why i was not one of the fan attacking Pannu saturday.

we need to build the support...lower prices will help to draw in those that stay away because of cost.Better football over time may help to bring back those that have been bored stupid by poor football.some will still stay away as we dont have the man u's etc to attract them.

They obviously worked out their price/volume ratios based on expected attendances and have opted to go get a better atmosphere inside St.Andrews - and in doing so, giving our team a better chance of progressing to the group stages.

you're mental if you think we'd have sold more than 10k for the nacional game at cat A prices, let alone sell out

and i dont see how an extra few hundred thousand £ would have any impact on reducing the level of debt or enable us to keep hold of players

will be very surprised if we manage to sell out even with the club pretty much giving the tickets away

I think a tenner is a great price and well done the club. Fiver for us season ticket holders makes it cheap as chips. I hope we get a sell out. Would be amazing. KRO!!!!

The club realise that qualification to the group stage could generate us more, than one game against Nacional in the Play Off...

Theyve lowered the prices to a bargain amount for this game, in order to pack St Andrews, hopefully get it rocking, and get a top atmosphere, to hopefully aid us in qualifying for the next round.

Then, thats where the increased Europa ticket prices will come in..

I think you're wrong there mate, especially considering Nacional will only bring a max of 200 fans.

Of course we would of sold out. Nacional will not even bring that many. Even if we sold 25,000 at £30 we would make more money that 30,000 on average £7.50. We need money, it could of been a case of our fans helping the club.
As i said its a brilliant gesture & the club need credit, will it make an extra few thousand come for the Milwall game on the sunday well i doubt it!

Thing is, we probably would have sold about 10,000 at £30.

Compare that with getting a full house for a tenner - yes, it's the same amount of money, but we get the added atmosphere and that'll spur on the team.

Well said. We need to get through and the best way to do that is with a sell out. Should be a really good night. KRO!!!!

If we get 10,000 in I will be surprised. Remember Rochdale last season in the Carling Cup? I do, I was there plus all the other games. People will only take the Europa Cup seriously if we reach the Quarter finals against a big European club.

Got my tickets today, total £11 for 1 adult and 2 concessions, bargain.

However, i was expecting a queue. Waited less than 5 mins, and with the general sale being brought forward speaks volumes. Ticket sales are poor.

So, if it continues like this this notion of cheap tickets = lots of bums on seats is wrong

Apparently season ticket seats still have until 15th until the seats go on sale with general sale coming forward so I doubt any season ticket holder is in a rush, still I am getting mine tomorrow.

The way I see it this can go one of two ways:

1. The club know the fans are suffering after the relegation and fire sale of our best players and want to give something back. Therefore they're giving us an awesome European night for not much money, hopefully with a full house, great atmosphere and a bit of much needed positive PR.

2. The club know that Europe is not a priority and intend to put out a weakened team. Knowing the backlash that would follow if they did this they've slashed the prices to almost nothing so they don't get accused of conning the fans out of their money.

I just really hope it's the first one!

To be fair, fans are probably seeing how we do in the first leg before spending money on tickets for ST Andrews.

Should have made the tickets cheap to season ticket holders or if you bought a Milwall ticket too.

I think STH's should always get the cheapest tickets. They should be rewarded for their loyalty. KRO!!!!

We barely managed to sell out for the semi-final of the Carling Cup with tickets going at £25 and £30.
