Plenty of good decisions for Hughton to make ahead of the Boro game with Wood and Redmond putting their stakes for games in, Beausejour having a big influence on the game again from the centre

Glad that fog kept off. God know what would have happened if it had been called off second half

No subs?

:LMAO:

I think that next Thursday's team is going to be very very different.

Nacional played their strongest team tonight, and we didn't and got a 0-0.

CH kept faith with this side and we still have something in reserve for Boro on Sunday.

Tell you one thing.

It's pretty unusual to see 5 or 6 blue shirts buzzing around the opposition penalty area.

The more we play together - the happier we will be. :D

The Asante's and Jervis' have been on their first European jaunt - although they didn't get on the pitch - did Gibson or Fletcher ever? - on their first inclusions

The dreaded Away Goal now looms.

If Ziggie, Cams the man or Kingz really want to taste European football - perhaps they may have a gee up instead of hiding away.

Well we'd most certainly park the Bus if McJudas was still here

I think CH will play a 4-5-1 though and hope we score early.....that will force Nacional to loosen up at the back

We need to score anyway because if it is 0-0 after ET at St Andrews the tie will go to penalties......and we don't want that.....do we ??

Wonder if he will keep that shape for Sunday?

If they lay off the bacon and fried egg sandwiches and the curries.....then yes

I'm told that tonight's referee is from the same town in Serbia as Nikola Zigic. He asked to pass on his 'huge regards' to the striker

Curtis looks like a £10m player again!

But never did under Alex ! **thumbup

Don't know how or what, Chris has done with him, but the guy is reaching the potential many, many clubs saw, years ago - that he never reached - uncanny.

From a squad filler to a permanent fixture !

:applause:

We need to keep HIM. These last 2 matches, he looks a better sale than Scott Dann imo - really.

Pr@tts.

We are "Blues"

Not "The Blues"

"The Blues" are Everton and Chelsea.

We are "Blues" -

No "The" about it.

We are the original "Blues".

Like the FA is the 'original' FA and don't like being called the "English FA"

We are "Blues"

When I ever see a 30 year old journo calling us "THE blues" - I realise they are dimwits. Moxley always does it.
Tatts on rare occasions **thumbup But I forgive him like

History man.

Something you obviously don't know.

In the 50's, 60s and 70s when Cheslea and Everton began to be called "The Blues"

We were always termed "Blues" in the national rags etc.

I know quite a few Chelsea and Everton fans who deny all knowledge of their clubs being EVER called "The Pensioners" or "The Toffemen"

:LMAO:

It's called "HISTORY" fruit.

Obviously you don't know it like, but, there you go.

Go off and have a spurt at someone else man.

Ignorance shouldn't lead to agression - right.

Check, before you spout of.

I agree - We've always been 'Blues' not 'The Blues' - sets us apart! Local press usually get it right - you can usually tell a report from someone not from the area when they say 'The Blues' KRO :blues:

:P

Whereas, many of us have heard our mums tell our mates - when they called 'round- "He's off at Blues"

"Got a ticket - Gone to Blues"

Mates from years past ( one especially) rang me at work, from Bath and Brighton asking what "Blues" club (meaning R & B as it was then) - had opened in Brum because I was at "Blues" :D 1966.

There you go mate, as you say, stupid argument.

Because you don't know how people talked, how we reffered to Blues, isn't a sin - just a lack of knowledge, a lack of local history.

Don't matter man, I'm not falling out with you.

Just please, like, lower the aggression when you disagree. OK **thumbup
