slightly disapointed about the lighter colour...it reminds me of the shirt when larsson scored the messi goal against sheffs wed...would be a brilliant shirt if it was the same colour as the one we went up in the last time around...o well...k.r.o for tonight lads

I saw it in the club shop today fopr the first time, I think it's awful, it may be better if it was the right royal blue. I wont be buying it, thats two years running. note to the people who design the shirts, we play in ROYAL blue. :copno:

Its not the original"Royal Blue" its an abberation of the late-40s for a lighter shade that was adopted as the web colour shade in the 80s. The Original Royal blue is that of the popular colour of blue ink and the one that has been designated for the royal family. The new version was agreed by the current squad however (see also the Blues flag banner), that should be enough to were it with pride IMO! **thumbup

Royal is a variation of the colour of Blue

You cannot have a variation on a variation of Blue

All i ask is a shirt the right colour !!

Google Royal blue and see how many differing matches you get then compare them to the shirt – you can’t please all of the people all of the time. I disliked the previous two home kits but like this one.

I love the new home kit now, it took some growing on me though, I am getting it for my birthday. And the traditional Royal Blue looks quite close to navy.

It looks cheap and nasty and I won't be buying it.

What must the players think playing in poor quality like that. I can't wait for us to get a proper kit maker as other teams outside the prem seem to be able to.

What the players wear and what the fans buy are different kits.

I picked my son's up from the club shop today and I think it looks great. The colour is good and the styling is good.

It's all about opinion at the end of the day, I bet a kit you love, someone else hates.

I'm not a fan of the colour of the new home shirt - I personally think that it should be closer to the colour used as the background to this forum (well done Hirsty! :applause: )

I have, however, bought the away kit and reckon that both colour and quality are the best for many years!!

Most people will buy it because thats what they do every season , fair play I used to but the standard from x-tep is very poor as far as i'm concerned so I wont give the club 40 quid for something which cost next to nothing to produce for a poor product.

Looks cheap and nasty is different to how it actually is.

I think its one of the best quality shirts we've had in a long time.

I was out shopping the other day and saw our top alongside loads of others. Frankly I felt insulted. It looked like cheap tat compared to everything else on show. An insult to our great club.

Even the old mark one shirts looked better.

But Crusto clearly states he was out shopping and saw it "along side" other kits. Just wondering where this was.
