Seeing those fans made me very proud to be a Bluenose. They were part of a bit of history of this club.

This :applause:

Felt proud to see all the flags in the stadium and the pictures of those outside.

And from what I can gather, it appears our fans did us proud whilst mixing with the locals.

Fantastic support, we have mixed with the locals and had some fun! Don't think we could have got a better draw for friendliness and a good welcome! At 1 point the poilce were even helping a lad put his flag up behind the goal lol

Well done Bluenoses, did'nt stop singing and chanting all through the 90 minutes. Also well done the folks of Madeira and fans of Nacional for making us all welcome. Let's give any of their fans who make the trip to St Andrews next Thursday a big blues welcome too.

To all those that went - you were brilliant!
Thanks for flying the flag for BCFC!
Lets hope that we can repeat the performance at the home game now!!!
Im telling everyone I meet to get down there for the fiver and everyone is surprised at the low cost so most dont seem to know what a good deal it is.
So spread the word and lets try and get the ground as full as poss as we party onto Europe - we must surely get easier places to get to next time!

An amazing few days in the sunshine which was concluded by a fantastic result from Blues! Everyone was in high spirits and the atmosphere and banter shared from both sets of fans was excellent!! (Even the journey up the mountain was fun)Anyway back to my 6hr wait at Porto airport to get back home :(

We did the club proud

But don't expect everything to be "Love, Handshakes and Roses" if we have to go to Germany, Italy or even the Final itself in Bucharest, Romania

Not a slur on English supporters ........it's the locals I'd be worried about

Lazio, Roma (Rome) , Schalke, Hannover (Germany).....and let's not forget sharing a possible group with Celtic in it

Does anyone think it would be a nice gesture by the club to reward the fans who went to Madiera, by giving them a free ticket to thursdays game

Most of them are season ticket holders, so its like £5 anyway, may aswell be free.
